Mario Kart 8 (Nintendo Wii U)

Great fun, lost none of its original charm in fact may have more than the original. The dlc is actually worth it here too as it adds 8 great new tracks and racers that is not the same for all dlc. Winner all day for kids and adults suffering from summer rain blues

Since I bought it, the game disc has not left my Wii U. The tracks are very well designed, with the antigravity parts being a nice touch but not overused, the gameplay is very good, and the graphics are great. It might be my personal favourite of the Mario Kart games (which takes a lot, as I loved Double Dash). Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend it; it is fun for everyone, even those who have never played a Mario Kart game before.

This is an incredibly fun game dont get me wrong, if you enjoy doing the same thing over and over and over then this is the game for you, its just it lacks any real content. Sure it has a lot of tracks, but 50% of those tracks are pulled from previous games, some of which are absolutely tedious and make me question who in their right mind decided to bring them back. The variety of characters is very poor, its mainly an assortment of your usual Mario, Luigi and Peach and then the babified versions of those characters and even metal versions of Mario and Peach. The variety is sorely lacking with the characters, I have no idea why as theres a lot of characters to choose from in the Mario-verse. My biggest problem with this game comes from the lack of things to do, sure racing is fun for a few hours against the AI, then you realise over a decade later they still havent fixed the AI to target anyone but you, so that spoils racing against the AI. The multiplayer is fun, sure, when youre not being disconnected from races. Even then its just a matter of time before this games goes from amazing fun to tedium as youre just playing the same maps with the same vehicle over and over with nothing really changing.

Brilliant game. My nephew loves this game as I bought it 4 him 4 Christmas. Best game out

Forse il miglior Mario Kart di sempre. Completo, divertente e ipnotizzante. Alcuni circuiti sono un piacere per gli occhi, e i nuovi veicoli sono davvero bellissimi. Ovviamente le sue potenzialità si esprimono meglio giocando con gli amici, perché il single player alla lunga potrebbe diventare monotono. La modalità multiplayer online ovviamente sopperisce a questo, ma scontrarvi con persone che stanno nella vostra stanza è tutta unaltra cosa!
