Mario Kart 8 (Nintendo Wii U)

Bought for my 10 year old, he adores this game. The graphics are absolutely top drawer, as good as anything I have seen on any other consoles. The game play is tremendous, and the invention and design of the tracks is brilliant. He particularly likes playing online against other players from all over the world. In summary, a great game on a severely under-rated console. If you like gaming, do yourself a favour and ditch the xbox one and ps4 and get yourself a WiiU.

Always been a Mario Kart fan, so there was little doubt I wouldnt like this. But this game is truly phenomenal !! Terrific graphics, with super smooth animation (the characters have so much, no other way to say it, character). The music is scored by an orchestra, gravity defying gameplay, spot on controls, lots of options for tuning the game. The only downside, is the battle mode, which is now based on re-purposed tracks rather than closed in arenas. Highly recommended.

This game is freaking AWESOME! Lots of characters, tracks and cars! Great fun with family and friends. Great visuals in HD with 60fps. New powerups. I reccomend this for hardcore Nintendo fans or if you have kid, in fact I would like to advice parents that think of buying a gaming console for ther children and they are divided between the XBox One or the PS4, buy a Nintendo console! Buy the 3DS or the WiiU. Every kid should start their gaming experience with a Nintendo Console.

I bought this as a present for my son. However, I found myself playing it the other day with a friend as it is just so much fun and easy to play for a non-gamer like myself.

Absolutely the best re-incarnation of Mario Kart ever. The HD graphics are stunning and the game play is spot on, with more than enough choices of Kart construction (Chassis, Wheels and flying aids. To be able to drive, walls and ceilings is both captivating and mesmerising.

Mario Kart 8 is a racing game where 1st place doesnt mean youre gonna win. Bright and beautiful, tight controls, loads of powerups to make EVERY SINGLE RACE like no other! Tons to unlock, loads of replay value and if you have friends, please play with them and enjoy the friends who remain!
