> 3 dayThis is the best pressing agent for quilting. I find ordering the gallon size is the best option, saves me money and I always have a supply on hand. Its use is a priority in preparing fabrics prior to cutting and stitching. Best Press does not flake or gum up my iron surface.

> 3 dayI use this to stiffen my quilt fabrics before I cut them. The starch keeps them from stretching, and is especially useful when working with fabric that has been cut in the bias. I like the scent free version, but I have also used the scented.

Greater than one weekNo scent. This starch is so much better than anything else I have used.

> 3 dayThe best thing about Best Press is the way it removes stubborn, long time wrinkles as if they never existed. I use it for quilting special parts that do not respond to steam. Use a dry iron with Best Press. Each piece is crisp and maintains its shape. It is wonderful! I have not washed the quilts afterwards but I believe it does wash out and become softer.

> 3 dayThis is the best starch I have found to iron my clothes. It doesnt flake and it doesnt take a lot of it. However, it seems to be getting harder and harder to find.

> 3 dayI do quite a bit of quilting and this product is wonderful for getting out all the wrinkles on my fabric, pressing down my seams so they lay flat and allowing me to spray on to my pattern pieces without being sticky or leaving residue on the fabric or iron. I also use Mary Ellens Best Press product to iron mine and my husbands shirts. It has just enough body for the shirts to look great without any stiffness. Buying the refill bottle at Amazon allows me to refill a small squirt bottle which is easy to handle.

> 3 dayI have been quilting for a few years, but just started making a Farmers Wife quilt (small 6 blocks) that not only were small, but had many triangles and other precision piecing needs. I mentioned my struggles, and a friend suggested trying starch. I tried some spray starch from the grocery store because it was easy to get a hold of. It worked well at helping me keep the tips of my triangles very crisp. But I managed to go through 2 ironing board covers and a new iron in a month. Not to mention that I was always running out of starch. After doing some poking around online, I found Best Press. I started with a small bottle, but it was love at first press. It didnt smell, was easy to use, didnt build up on my iron or my ironing board covers, and kept all my triangles perfectly crisp. I currently always have a back up gallon in the closet, just in case. I cannot quilt without it now. Best Press is also very useful for giving body to thinner fabrics, like lawns of voiles, whether you are using them for garments or quilting. Remember to starch or use a product like this before you cut your pieces and make your quilt blocks! If you do it after you cut your pieces, or even after you piece your blocks you can cause the fabrics to distort or shrink, causing puckering.

> 3 dayThis product is great with ironing for getting wrinkles out of fabric and prepping it for cutting. I go through a lot of this while making a quilt. So happy to have found a gallon amount.
