Mary Ellen Products 60041-1 startch, Scent Free, 16 Ounce

I quilt a lot but I did not like the other products, which had perfume odors. They made me sneeze constantly and I coughed a lot. This product has no odor that I can detect and it does the same job.

I use Best Press for piecing, really rely on it - it doesnt stick up my iron, and it washes out easily. I wish it werent so expensive, but still I wont use any other product!

Many of the quilters Ive spoken to suggest using Mary Ellens Best Press to add a little body to fabrics before cutting and also to reduce fraying. Ive found that it works very well for both. I just bought my second gallon because I dont want to run out of it!

This is a great product. Our cloths look crisp and hanging in the closet up against one another they do not wrinkle!! Buying again!!

This is an necessary product for a quilter. I love that it is unscented. Great price for the gallon. I will be back for more!

This is the best product for quilt making. I mix with water and a few drops of my preferred essential oils, and go to town on the most stubborn quilt seams. Love this because I can store pressed blocks long term without worrying about pests. And it works! Like magic! Im on my second gallon. No regrets.

Im a quilter who always pre-shrinks my fabric. Best press restores the crispness and body to the fabric after washing. The overspray does build up on the floor and walls, but can be easily washed off.

So happy to just be able to refill rather than buying smaller bottles that fill up the landfill.

I love this product and have begun using it more and more for smaller pieced items when quilting. It is so much easier to sew a nice straight seam on fabric that is not so limp. No residue or smell like with regular spray starch...doesnt gum anything up or leave a flaky film behind. I get no scent which is great for my allergies but there are other scents for those who like that. Lavendar is not bad.
