Greater than one weekIve been sewing for years. Often using a water spray bottle as opposed to putting water in my iron. When I wanted to starch something, I would buy the spray starch. It always smelled so clean. Then I discovered Best Press. I dont even remember why I bought it. Works great. Lavender is my favorite scent. Started teaching my daughter to sew 2 years ago and bought her a bottle for her back then. Glad it comes in a gallon so I can refill my sprayer. I hope Mary Ellen never quits making the lavender scent!

> 3 dayAs a quilter, you are told not to use regular spray starch, because it is made with potatoes. There are bugs that are attracted to the potato and thus, holes in fabric! Ive used this press alternative for several years now and its great. There are different fragrances to choose from as well. Its a really good deal by buying it in the gallon size!

Greater than one weekI purchased this starch on the advice of a friend. I had tried a spray starch from a box store on a bed skirt with poor results. What a difference using Mary Ellens starch made. The skirt came out beautiful and crisp while not having that stiff, hard finish. It does cost more and I probably would not use it for everyday use, but for those special projects and clothes its a definite go to product.

> 3 dayI’ve used Mary Ellen’s best ironing spray for. many many years. Very happy Amazon sales it in gallon containers. I’m a master seamstress so I use this fabulous spray to iron seams ...press them open As I sew. Then use Mary Ellen’s to my finished product to make the fabric smooth and smelling fresh. It’s not a starch... it’s better for the fabric. Not sticky or stiff or thick. Perfect for my ironing needs.

> 3 dayThis stuff is my absolute favorite. I put it in a small spray bottle, and it never flakes, no matter how much I use. I also use it when I iron my clothes and it doesnt cause that shiny look, and it will even iron out wrinkes when a regular spray starch wont. I quilt, so I need alot of spray starch of some kind. Im not sure what this is made of, but it is very good.
