Greater than one weekMy personal choice is the Lavender but I have tried all of them and they are all a good product. I choose to iron my fabric before cutting my patterns, this spray makes the material nice and crisp but not stiff. It works great for seams and I even use it to iron my husbands shirts. I love this product and no more Niagra. Hope you will try it I know you will love it!

> 3 dayI just love Best Press especially the lavendar fragrance. I used it to make my fabric easier to sew together at first. I loved how it pressed the wrinkles out and made the material smell I started using it to iron my clothes. Besides giving me that well dressed look it the fragrance made me feel good when I put on the clothers I pressed. Anymore I am lost without it. I use it all the time and the gallan size is just perfect. I bought a small spray bottle of it first and now I have a bottle to put it in.

> 3 dayI’ve used Mary Ellen’s best ironing spray for. many many years. Very happy Amazon sales it in gallon containers. I’m a master seamstress so I use this fabulous spray to iron seams ...press them open As I sew. Then use Mary Ellen’s to my finished product to make the fabric smooth and smelling fresh. It’s not a starch... it’s better for the fabric. Not sticky or stiff or thick. Perfect for my ironing needs.

11-06-2025We’ve had many steam irons, not cheap ones.....we’ve decided that the best way to iron, is to not use the Steam , but to go back to the way our Moms ironed clothes......Sprinkle or spray water or even better this lavender scented sizing product, onto your clothing, then iron, works great. This way you do not have to put up with steam irons spotting your clothes as you iron, all irons that you add water to use will give you this problem.....quit using the steam option........it works.......

> 3 dayThis is the best ironing aid on the market. Makes ironing easier without the stiffness of using a starch type product. The lavender scent is just enough for freshness without being overwhelming.

Greater than one weekIve been sewing for years. Often using a water spray bottle as opposed to putting water in my iron. When I wanted to starch something, I would buy the spray starch. It always smelled so clean. Then I discovered Best Press. I dont even remember why I bought it. Works great. Lavender is my favorite scent. Started teaching my daughter to sew 2 years ago and bought her a bottle for her back then. Glad it comes in a gallon so I can refill my sprayer. I hope Mary Ellen never quits making the lavender scent!
