I love Mary Ellen’s starch. That gets 5 stars. However, the description claims it’s 128 ounces. Beware. It’s really just one gallon - 64 ounces.

You can not beat Mary Ellens Best Press, nor the value of the gallon refill. I have used this product on my quilts for years. It never flakes. It doesnt build up on your fabric. There are many quilters out there who swear by this product.

The best product I have ever used for ironing. I am a quilter and I press alot while pieces a quilt together and this product really helps my mood as well as ironing the wrinkles out.

Why did I not hear about this AMAZING STARCH years ago. I would not have carpel tunnel in my wrists if I would have know about this two years ago. I have used half of this item, I spay heavy because the fabric is thick canvas material and have not needed to clean it yet. I had to stop using the other brands of starch because I was forced to buy new irons because I couldnt get the starch off the irons with all other Brands. I love this and there is not one thing I can say bad about it. I want to add, I used the starch on regular cotton shirts and the more you spray the stiffer it gets.

Best Press is the ONLY fabric starch I will use. It does not clog the iron or make any build-up or unsightly white marks. Love this product

Once you try this you will switch over for good. I gave up spray starch and then gave up mixing my own when I found this. No more flaking and I love the delicate fragrance, especially the lavender, even my finicky husband who is a fragrance free person likes it.
