> 3 dayUsed backpack for travel, seemed like a perfect solution. Very lightweight, but sturdy, by itself. Recently used it as a carry on, with a laptop, on a recent trip overseas. However, with a days worth of clothing, carry-on stuff, and a full size laptop, it was too heavy to wear as a backpack and it didnt lend itself to being carried by the handle, since it was longer than a typical backpack. Im 5 9 tall, so carrying by the handle should not have been an issue; this ended up being a real challenge. It needed wheels. Overall, I like the backpack and it holds a lot of items and clothing. Lots and lots of zippered pockets. Not weatherproof for camping or hiking.

> 3 dayBag is definitely bigger then what I expected. Lots of various compartments. Really nice to have the usb access on the side of the bag and love the compartment on the bottom inside of the bag (perfect place for cash, passports, etc). Bag is well built, excellent quality. Should last a long time and many trips!

> 3 dayGot this for grandson to use on his class trip, as I figured his regular backpack wont be big enough. It seems like it will be perfect for the job.

> 3 dayThe bag is great, tons of pockets, excellent size, great zippers, good padding. There aren’t compression straps though, which would be nice. It fits in the personal item bin, but only when it’s so lightly packed that it’s silly to use it for that.

> 3 dayThough I bought this backpack for international travel thinking it would open flat like a suitcase and allow me to carry more than a typical backpack, I did a trial run domestically this month. The backpack is comfortable even when loaded and it does hold more items as I had hoped. It has a number of pockets that help with organization. I am, however, terribly disappointed in the mesh side pockets which are almost too small for a 16oz plastic water bottle and definitely wont hold a travel bottle that you could refill. I even had trouble getting my mini umbrella in!! In our current day, I think all backpacks should have external mesh pockets with the ability to easily hold at least a 24 oz water bottle for travel and a standard travel umbrella.

Greater than one weekI needed an affordable travel backpack that could fit my 17 laptop, so my options were limited. This pack holds my laptop with room to spare. Unfortunately the laptop pocket goes straight to the bottom of the bag, so theres no protection if you forget to gently lower your bag to the ground. The larger storage area is huge, its so much! I do wish there were straps to hold your belongs down though, because the second you pick up the backpack, everything slips to the bottom of the bag. External compression straps wouldve been helpful too.
