Absolutely PERFECT!!! Everything I expected

The carry-on bag arrived today, and I am so happy with the burgundy color, the lightweight feel, the size, and the zippers. I have not yet tried it out on a trip, but it looks fabulous.

This is not the type of Travelpro luggage you may have noticed virtually every flight attendant uses. That luggage is substantially more expensive and substantially more rugged. This is standard luggage for the average traveler. As long as your expectations are reasonable, and youre comparing it to luggage in its price range, I dont think youll be disappointed. The suitcase is marketed as light, and it is. Its definitely lighter than my other carry-on. But when youre comparing fully packed suitcases--the average carry-on weighs 15-20 lbs when packed--the six ounces or so that you save (about 2%) isnt all that significant.

Bought this last minute because my 9 year old carry on roller bag broke during my last work trip (it was so good to me!). This had decent reviews and was the right size and I like the wheel setup. Unfortunately the clip to hold your clothes down broke during my first use. It was holding 7 days of clothing (and a littler extra because I’m an over packer), but I’m still upset with the quality.

Travelpro supposedly has a good reputation, in part because they offer a solid warranty. My experience is that over time the handle deteriorates and the plastic starts to fray and gets sticky. Other than wrapping it with duct tape there is no cheap solution for repair. When I brought this to the attention of Travelpro and despite a lifetime warranty, they refused any service because the luggage which I purchased on Amazon in 2014 cannot be serviced even with the stated warranty. This is actually the case for both pieces of luggage that I have. I was actually told to purchase a new unit.

Product arrived packaged as of new but was “sale.” Was traveling and did not open until after return date. Product damaged as per picture such that if this was new as advertised, initial quality exceedingly poor. I am out $126. Recommend against purchasing.

Lightweight & fits in carry on bin. I prefer the 2 wheeled version because it has more space inside the bag.

It’s a great bag but it’s 20” only not as described . Too bad had to return it .

The smell was so bad and it didn’t go away! I had to return it.

As other reviewers have stated, the hideous smell ruins what is otherwise a great, lightweight bag. Several reviewers on TravelPros website also complained about the smell. Airing it out made no difference at all.
