I purchased this product as my current storage is running out of space. I saw the reviews on this product and I was excited to get it. I received it and it was in great condition. When I plugged it in, I noticed that I saw the drive, but I couldnt transfer any of my documents over. I realized that I needed to format the drive to make it compatible to my Mac. Once I completed the formatting, I was able to start transferring my files. Im not sure what happened after that because it stopped working. The blue light was on and I heard it running, but I did not see it show up any more on my Mac. I also tried it on my Windows computer and it seemed like it was trying to locate it, but again nothing came up. I did a Disk Recovery and I did see the drive, but I couldnt once again try to locate the drive. I did try to reach out for help, but havent heard back except for my question which was answered, but not really helped with what I was experiencing so Im returning it. Quite Disappointed.

I backed up all of the important documents on my computer to this thing. I sleep better at night now because I don’t want to lose all my data. This was reasonably priced and very easy to use.

I ordered this to transfer photos from my IPhone to my PC laptop that is too old to do much other than store data. The instructions for the harddrive were non- existent and while I managed to fish my way through transferring onto it from my phone I needed tech support to help locate the drive on my laptop. Turns out it was installed in a weird folder and once found I was able to proceed. Would have liked a more user friendly PRINTED instruction manual

Great external hard drive for the price. Works great with our Tablo Quad DVR.

Arrived in good shape I ordered the gold color but it has a pink cast to it. Otherwise was just as pictured, worked great with windows old and new versions, highly, highly recommended

idk what experiences other ppl have had, but my MacBook would not recognize it. I used different cords thinking that was the problem but it wasnt. PCs did recognize it, but I bought it specifically to transfer files from my MacBook onto it, so it was useless to me and I had to return it :/
