I bought this several months ago and waited to write a review because of the unreliable reports I got on several other external hard drives. This is about a year old, and I have had no problems with it. I use it to back up my computer and can rely on its continued use.

Good product. I wasnt expecting it to be as good as it is. This will buy my computer it little while longer.

I purchased this to store photos on and its great. It downloads real quick, will accept different formats. I actually just purchased the 1TB one as well.

I ordered my product in august 2022 and it stopped working by June 2023. Would a company rep reach out?

A fast and easy way to store and transfer files

Just what I needed and as advertised. After reading lots of reviews for low-cost, large storage options I was worried how much this harddrive would actually store, Apparently a lot of cheap storage devices dont hold nearly as much as advertised. When I connect this harddrive ot my PC, it says it should hold about 299GBS (normal for a legit 320GB harddrive). I tested this harddrive by filling it to within 9GBs of its capacity and its working just fine. Highly recommend!

Plug and play works great with windows10.

We had our video tapes from 20+ years ago converted to digital via iMemories (check them out.) 19 tapes were about 50 GB, and we did not want to spend a yearly fee to keep them on their website, which is easy to use. But not as straight-forward and problem free as this maxone 2.5 External HDD 500 GB. Im not a computer slouch, nor am I an expert, but either of those types would appreciate this product. Just plug it into your lap top, Mac, PC, and boom; there it is in the file icon thingy area with all your other stuff. This thing processed moving my video files (which I downloaded last week from iMemories) in a matter of minutes. Both zipped and unzipped. I dont know what that means really, but I have had issues opening zipped files before, so I copied the unzipped ones into a separate folder. Im happy it was stress-free because I sure didnt think it would be. I think there are 1TB options and higher on this product as well. Go get one of these! Im going to back up my taxes for the past seven years next.
