great product. I bought it for my electrical food slicer. And it works exelent!!! It does not leave greasy stains, as petrolatum, but perfectly lubricates all friction parts. Lubricant provides an excellent stable film on metal parts. I highly recommend this petrol-gel lubricant for kitchen electrical appliances

I used a very minimal quantity to live the internal gasket of our espresso machine but the tube showed a small crack on the side. In general the product is ok and certified

This is the right amount to purchase if you plan on working on a kitchenaid mixer. I used almost a full tube replacing all of the grease in a kitchenaid 600. I would definitely purchase again when the time comes. Price is great - much much higher for some of the other food grade grease

I got this for my espresso maker which has some gaskets that need to be lubricated. Sadly this product made the rubber gaskets swell slightly causing me to have to buy replacements

This is a good grade lubricant. I have an electric food slicer that periodically needs to be lubricated. This is a product that was recommened to me by a food service worker. It is a thick, pasty gel that is waterproof, so you dont need to apply it every time you wash your blade. Youll get many uses out of a single use. Depending on how often you use the appliance in question, it will wear off, or eventually you will want to wash it off and put a fresh coat on. It washes with mild soap and water. You dont necessarily only have to use it for food handling equipment, it will lubricate anything.

Tried Taylor Lube on the frozen yogurt machines at work, and the handles would stick, allowing product to run out even after the handle was no longer pulled down. Ended up with piles of wasted froyo! An employee told me about this stuff (actually, she shouldnt remember the name, but the blue label on a metal tube was good enough to find it) so I ordered it ASAP. This works SO much better than Taylor did. No more leaks = happy employees (less mess to clean up) and less waste!

I bought a slicer and almost didnt buy any petrol-gel to keep it running. Im glad I went ahead a spent the extra money. The slicer keeps the luricant in place through the cleanings pretty well, but it does wear off over time. This stuff lasts a while since you dont have to use much of it, and it keeps me from ruining a new machine. If youre on the fence, Id buy it. It does what its supposed to do and its cheaper than regret.

I used this Petrol Gel to regrease my KitchenAid standing mixer and it worked perfectly! One tube did my whole mixer and after it was regreased and ran for about 5 minutes my KitchenAid sounded like a new machine! 5 stars from me!

Works great as a brew group lubricant for my Saeco superautomatic espresso machine. A much better value than the Saeco product and the quantity will last a very long time.
