> 3 dayThe product description and the tube label both say this is a white food-grade grease suitable for areas of minor food contact. I am using it on a Chefs Choice food slicer and it seems to be doing a good job. My only complaint is that the grease is clear in color (like petroleum jelly) not white as indicated. This makes it a bit harder to determine where I need to reapply grease after cleaning the slicer.

> 3 dayIts not easy to find this stuff at a reasonable price on the Internet. If you want to buy this in large containers it is cheaper, but this stuff goes a long way when applied. I use it on a meat slicer and it doesnt take much. Im guessing it wall last a couple of years. Based upon the manufacture specs, this stuff seems the safest and most effective for food use. When it runs out, Ill get more of it.

> 3 dayWorks as expected. I use it on my food slicer which blew a fuse on after not lubricating it for a few years. I normally use the slicer 3-4 times a year and after cleaning I would just store the slicer away without lubricating except for a little Vaseline on the nylon gear. I know the fuse blew from cutting a good amount of cheese. But after lubricating the slicer and cutting a bunch more cheese it seems to work a lot better. I also spray some Pam on the slicer blade before slicing cheese and it prevents the build up of cheese which caused a lot more drag on the slicer blade.

> 3 dayPurchased to lube o-rings for corney kegs and other homebrew applications. We use this same product in the commercial brewery I work at for everything from lubing the o-rings in picnic tappers to helping large gaskets seat on polish filters. In my homebrew setting at home, this small tube should last a ridiculously long time.

Greater than one weekI chose this particular lubricant because I purchased a new meat slicer and needed some lubricant. This lubricant was featured along with the same ad and as a matter of convenience I purchased it at the same time. After reading the reviews, this was an appropriate lubricant and appears to be similar to the product that came with the meat slicer. I would definitely recommend this lubricant.

> 3 dayI need a food-safe lubricant for my meat slicer, Kitchenaid stand mixer, and any other item I can find that comes into contact with food. This Petro-Gel goes on quite thick and stays where you put it. Ive witnessed no running or dripping of any kind. Amazon hahs the best price Ive seen online as well too.

> 3 dayAssuming that the lubricant inside is fine, the purchase was received quickly. The tube looked as though it had been dropped from a truck and then kicked around by pedestrians. Outward appearance is not necessary, but it does make one wonder. At any rate, I do have an affordable lubricant for my coffee maker.

> 3 dayI needed to grease the our French door fridge freezer, I got this but now it makes it very difficult to open and close the freezer, but it got harder opening and closing when I applied this on the slide and teeth. I had to wipe most of it off so the door would slide easier.
