> 3 dayUsing this on a Chefs Choice slicer really aided in smooth blade rotation. The product sticks well to the gears and slides and provides a great friction less solution.

Greater than one weekThe 4oz bottle is very reasonably priced. I’ve been using it on my Saeco espresso machine brew unit without any issues. The lubricant withstands multiple washes and I do not need to reapply every time I clean the machine. Very satisfied with this product.

> 3 dayI purchased this along with a Chefs Choice 615 food slicer -- I dont know a tremendous amount about the very best slicer lubricant, so I went with the reviews/suggestions to get the Petrol-Gel. Honestly, Im kind of impressed at how little is required to lubricate the grommet on the blade and the key points of the slicer. This small tube is going to last a long, long time. This is one of those products where I wont bother to find a better alternative or try to save what literally amounts to a buck. Ill stick with Petrol-Gel because it works.

> 3 dayAssuming that the lubricant inside is fine, the purchase was received quickly. The tube looked as though it had been dropped from a truck and then kicked around by pedestrians. Outward appearance is not necessary, but it does make one wonder. At any rate, I do have an affordable lubricant for my coffee maker.

> 3 dayA must have for home brewers and those with kegerators. Keep your O-Rings from binding and in good condition. A little goes a long way. With a very thing coating on the O-Rings it makes tapping your keg much easier and keeps the O-Rings from binding reducing the chance of leaks. Improves the life of O-Rings. Makes it easier to attache hoses to barb fittings tail peaces etc. Use when reassembling beer faucets to keep the O-Rings in good shape so they seal and dont leak. Use very sparingly all that is needed is a light coating just enough to give a sheen wipe off any excess and a tube will last for ever.

> 3 dayI was a bit put off by the price at first. I bought this for my home meat slicer (Chefs Choice 615), but 4 oz for home use is a very large amount, it only requires a few dabs each time you clean the slicer. I have used this probably a dozen times and I cant even tell that the gel container has been used. Its lubrication seems much better than the white gel that came on my slicer; this is more viscous, so it stays in place well, and also seems to allow for smoother sliding and gear junctions.

03-06-2025Great in freezer and refrigerator door and cabinet moving parts. I use it on car latches, it doesn’t get dirty like ordinary grease.
