So i originally just bought this just cause i needed a y splitter or i was just going to make one my own and usually the rcas i see are cheap, poorly insulated from each other, and doesnt last very long, this is definitely shielded from any outer power. I highly doubt you could break these unless you have some strong tools like a crimper or a knife, the ends do not bend like most rcas and the connecters are secure and high strength. They send you the exact specs of the wire with it and the frequency range. You wont be disappointed on this especially since on top of all that it looks great. Especially good if you have a visible amp

I have been using Mediabridge products for a while now, and I am very happy with their performances. The Y connector, that I purchased for use with my subwoofer, has been performing well, and I am sure it will for years to come.
