Some cables are cheaply built while some are overbuilt. These are WAY-overbuilt. Very stiff wires with real grabber connectors. Connectors must be twisted to get them on, and good luck getting them off. Might be useful in an automotive application where you want to be sure the connections stay on forever, but these cables were not for me. Im returning them.

As usual Mediabridge comes through with a quality product at a great price. I have bought numerous items from Mediabridge and like this one their cables are always of great quality. Everything works as it should first time, every time.

Mediabridge makes the best cables for HTPC setups. I have noticed the difference that these cables have made to my subwoofers.

I bought a couple of these for my new subwoofers which have stereo inputs. Of course the sound is still mono and I could have just plugged it into one of the ports, but I figured what the heck. These plugged in securely, are short and simple and cheap. Exactly what I wanted. Mediabridge makes a lot of premium-ish cheap cables. They are basically the step up brand on Amazon. Ive got a bunch of HDMI cables from Mediabridge which are better quality than the bottom of the barrel cheap cables. Dont get me wrong, the picture is no better, but the cables are constructed better and are made of better materials. This Y adapter was no different.

What can I say, it works. Honestly, Im not sure if I have the ear anymore to tell the difference between this and a cheaper cable, but as far as quality of construction, It appears to be made very well. The connectors fit tight but not to the point where its difficult to plug in. It you want a well built, well priced product, look no further!

I bought this item to hook up from the RCA cord that runs from my AV to split into the two RCA inputs in my sub. Works great!
