i bought a polk sub that uses stereo inputs and had an a/v unit that used mono sub output. this cord converts it and works as advertised. whether it sounding better with the Y cable as opposed to just choosing an input for the mono cord is up to you. could be placebo, but with the money spent on the speaker system i decided this was worth it.

Ive purchased a lot of AV cables in my time. These fit snug and are very easy to push on and pull off the RCA jacks. They have great shielding, very low sound loss with no interference. I would reccomend buying cables from this company. Well manufactured. I am very satisfied with the quality of this product.

Excellent, since I needed to transition between a AVR that supported 9.2 with first a single-sub layout then next to a dual-sub layout. It enabled me to switch between configurations and test out what worked best!

Looks great, well made and worth the price

This was just what I needed. Im running a Polk 10 sub to a Pioneer 1021k and needed this cable to make it work as the sub had two ports and the receiver had one. I heard I could use the left channel only, but the manual said getting a cable into both was ideal... this did the trick.

Nice cable. I use it to send the signal to both inputs of one of my Subwoofers via a cable from one of the two Recievers Subwoofer Out jacks. It lets me use one output jack on the Receiver and one cable to the Subwoofer splitting it at the Sub instead of needing two separate cables. The Y-Adapter is well made and flexible with secure RCA connections.

Cant say much more other than Mediabridge just makes AWESOME and high quality cables at a fraction of the cost from the brand name companies that make similar or even inferior cables. Not bashing Monster Cable at all, in fact Im a fan of their company. But since Mediabridge has become a powerhouse, Ive been a loyal customer of theirs and their wires are just top notch. Highly recommended.
