Greater than one weekI have used these cables for several months now to connect a receiver to a power amplifier. They have performed perfectly without any problems at all and the price was right as well. I highly recommend all Mediabridge cables for use with home theater systems.

> 3 dayGreat quality cable! Great quality plugs. I purchased this with the Mediabridge ULTRA Series RCA Y-Adapter (12 Inches) - 1-Male to 2-Female for Digital Audio or Subwoofer - (Part# CYA-1M2F-P) in order to connect my 2 powered subwoofers to my receiver.

> 3 dayThe cable is thick and seemingly durable, provides a very secure connection and seems to send a somewhat stronger signal to my subwoofer than the generic cable I had been using. I found myself having to turn my subwoofer down about 10% to keep it from drowning out the mid & high frequencies. I dont think it actually improved the quality of sound from the subwoofer (or if it did it was negligible) but it definitely seemed to bump the volume of it, possibly thanks to the gold plating which my other cable lacked. I never noticed any signal interference with my other generic cable before, but I definitely have more peace of mind with this one thanks to its thicker shielding around the copper wire. There are some who will try to convince you that subwoofer cables (and speaker cables) running north of $100 or even $200 are going to get you superior performance and audio quality, and theyre lying to you. Heres what this cable has that my generic cable did not: gold plating for conductivity, a connector designed for maintaining a secure connection, and thick shielding around the copper. Theres not much else you can ask of a subwoofer cable that will have any noticeable benefit. Please do not waste your money; this cable has every feature that actually matters. Any perceived benefit of a $100+ cable is an expensive placebo effect.
