> 3 dayAn easy plug in from our new Yamaha subwoofer (purchased from Amazon) to our new Onkyo stereo receiver, also from Amazon. Make sure your equipment has these up to date connections. Excellent quality as with other Mediabridge cables. Excellent price..

> 3 dayThese cables are very sturdy, they feel solid. The connectors are fit snugly onto the subwoofer RCA jack, but not overly tight (a problem I had with the Monster cable I previously used). The grips at the ends of the cable, just below the connector, are a very nice touch. Theyre flat, so theyre very easy to hold between your fingers, and make it easy to push the connector onto the RCA jack. Sound quality is perfect. Overall, the quality is on par with Monster cables, and for a significantly lower price. The various lengths of cable that are available make it easy to get exactly the size you need, without having to coil up excess cable. I highly recommend these cables to anyone looking for quality subwoofer cables, as an alternate to Monster.

> 3 dayAs the 1-star reviewer mentioned, this is in fact a very thick, stiff and non-flexible cable. So keep that in mind if you are trying to route it in a tight space. I have mine connecting a Vizio VSB200 soundbar and a Yamaha subwoofer. Both connection points are VERY solid; I doubt they will ever get loose in the future, which is nice because I never plan on disconnecting them (unless I move). I have other Mediabridge cables (HDMI) for our TV and they exhibit the same stiffness and thickness. They are high quality, however I dont personally see that they produce better results than cables that arent as thick (e.g., those from Amazon Basic). So it may just come down to your personal preference. We put several Mediabridge HDMI cables behind a super slim flat panel TV that was mounted so close to the wall but the cables actually make it protrude more than it needs to because they are very thick. Anyway, my point is -- it is a valid issue if you are concerned about space. If space is not an issue, these cables are great and very reasonably priced.

> 3 dayI was using a standard RCA connector and was getting a small humming from the subwoofer. Not bad, but noticeable. I moved the old RCA connector away from the power cords at the back of the receiver to help somewhat. I installed this with the additional shielding and the hum is gone regardless of proximity to the power cords. I only needed to run 4, so the signal strength decay was not an issue, even with the cheap RCA connector that I originally used.
