Wasnt what I really needed for my Chromebook. But Im beginning to realize that not many external components are for Chromebook.

I wanted a simple easy to use external hard drive. This one was exactly that. I have made folders and been able to transfer files and pictures without a problem. I would recommend this item to anyone

Though the instructions are slim-to-none and require a magnifying glass to read, and though I have an older OS (Windows 7), this is a totally plug-and-play external drive. Windows 7 popped up with a message that it couldnt find a driver for it, but it didnt matter because the drive works regardless. Dont worry about the tiny instructions and ignore Windows. The drive does precisely what its supposed to do.

Be careful to understand this is advanced 3.0 hard drive is not designed to work on XP MS versions.

I needed the drive to send with a lot of files. They all transferred perfectly. The only thing I do not yet know is about the drives durability. So far it has not failed, but the time has been qyite short,

I am satisfied with the product. It works fast and can be used with different types of devices. One thing that convinces me was that they offer a 3-year warranty and support in case you run into any trouble for configuration and stuff. It feels sturdy and 500Gb is pretty good storage.

I was looking for a small hard-drive(less than 1tb) as I didnt need a whole lot of storage. I ordered a 250gb. It works great no issues. However. Might want to check them when you receive it. Im not complaining but mine was labeled 250gb but was actually a 320gb.
