> 3 dayJust recently I started getting into pomade and I noticed this listed at the very top for a little less than $11. I decided to give it a try and after more than a week of using It, I decided to give my final thoughts on it, both on what I like and dislike about it. Likes: The smell and quality of the pomade are nice and can be worked through the hair easily and easily comes out with water. In addition to that, it gives a nice slick shine to your hair when applied. Dislikes: The amount of pomade in the container is very disappointing when compared to other brands. For example, for just $1.80 more you can get more than double the amount from Suavecito. So just to almost match the quantity that Suavecito has you would have to spend an ADDITIONAL $11 just to match. In addition to that if you have long hair you need to use a larger quantity of it which will make you buy more which is an even BIGGER WASTE OF MONEY. Conclusion: Would I buy this product again? No. Why would I spend more money on a product that will bleed me dry when I could instead purchase from another company that can give me the same quality with a higher quantity amount? NOW, I bet this pomade would be much more effective for people with shorter hair styles but still, this will be a product I will never purchase again.

> 3 dayIve been using American Crew styling gel for years. But it can be a bit expensive. I recently started trying this pomade and I like it. With gel in the bottle, I feel like Im paying a lot more for just water. And these seem to be a lot less expensive for what equates to the same amount, because theyre so much more concentrated. Although I havent done the math enough to get a good comparison.

> 3 dayI don’t know about you, but I have thick coarse hair that loves to get all wavy and curly if I use anything other than a High Hold High Shine pomade. I’ve tried every combination and HH-HS is the only things that keeps my hair straight and in place the course of the day. And even gives it stylistic volume a day or two after. American Crew loves to overprice their products. Why? I don’t know. I’m not a fan of the soft scent they use for their hair products, particularly the pomades, but I guess they think images of 1950s icons equates to a higher price. The one thing I will say about their take on the High Hold High Shine is that it feels very good. I tried Barlow’s version of the HH-HS and it was very gluey and gooey. I’m a particular fan of Cremo’s HH-HS Hair Polish but the smell is just wayyyyy too much of a synthetic citrus bomb. American Crew mellows it out with a more “polish” vibe. I would never buy just one of these because it’s way too much money but in a 3-pack or multipack, it’s definitely worth it for those of you with thick unruly hair looking to slick it back and to do what you want it to it.

> 3 dayGreat fresh barber shop scent, great hold all day, natural look. Went to bed with hair done and looked exactly the same when I woke up. I have been experimenting for months. This gentlemen, is the one. Also way cheaper on amazon than my local Walmart.

Greater than one weekI’m not sure if people are using this the wrong way or what... but it’s perfect. The only thing wrong is the price is a little high for my taste. But it last months. I have thick hair (medium length) that curls after 2+ inches and never have a problem. Use on damp hair after a shower and it will have the hold for any hair. For shine - you might want your hair a little more on the wet side, but even damp/almost dry hair it provides a nice shine that isn’t overwhelming. I won’t be using anything other than this
