If you hate “hard hair” and would rather prefer your hair a bit greasy, then use this. Also, if you don’t use a lot, it’s hardly even greasy. Just know that all pomade which gives a bit of a “wet look” it’s wet either because it’s unnaturally hard or it’s oil based. This is oil based and it’s the only pomade to which I have gone back.

Great fresh barber shop scent, great hold all day, natural look. Went to bed with hair done and looked exactly the same when I woke up. I have been experimenting for months. This gentlemen, is the one. Also way cheaper on amazon than my local Walmart.

Im not sure what to say about the other reviewers who have claimed to get a substandard product (yellow, smelly). This is my first time using this product. Mine seems to be clear (its a dark container) and smells like a hair product. I have very curly hair, and to go without product would result in an undesirable poof of fluff. Likewise, I have no desire to slick my hair into highly gelled wet-looking but hard-as-a-rock curls. This product puts me nicely in the middle, and leaves my hair controlled throughout the day while retaining a nice finish (slight luster, but not wet) and without a feeling of residue. The product feels very thick when you scoop it out and rub it on your hands, but when run through damp hair, thins out nicely. I only use my fingers (rather than a comb) because I like to keep the curls and avoid the potential for frizz / fluff. If you are like me, with curly hair and havent found a happy solution to control the curls while avoiding using multiple products, this is definitely worth a try.
