> 24 hourI just had to leave a review for the team at Micro-Swiss. Recently, I managed to shear off my 0.4mm nozzle (noob mistake, never loosen a used nozzle while cold) and managed to break it off in the heat block. This resulted in my replacing my original Micro-Swiss heat block and nozzle with a cheap brass/aluminum combo I had lying around. NOTHING BUT GRIEF. I finally realized what I did in that moment of pique and ordered the $25 worth of new heat block and nozzle from Micro Swiss. Long story short - ALL PROBLEMS SOLVED. I print typically on PETG and PLA, and sometimes TPU with an 0.8mm M-S nozzle, and things are back to being PERFECT. I dont normally get so emotional in my reviews, but Im really appreciative of this company and their dedication to quality. My current setup is: Micro-Swiss Ender 5 Direct Extrusion Head, All-Metal Hotend, 0.4mm hardened A2 nozzle.

> 24 hourHow do you attach it to the heat sink without the two holes? The two holes used to attach to the heat sink are missing. I thought it would work by pressing it in firmly, but it came out on the first try. I liked the looks of it when I ordered and I ordered three. Am I going to have to return all of them?

> 24 hourThis hot end is my favorite. It was one of the first things I replaced on my Ender 3 pro and it has served me well for several years. I’ve had no issues with print quality with this hotend and it feels very well built. I recently had an accident that caused the threads to be stripped in my old heater block but it was a simple fix with this replacement part.

> 24 hourJust looking at it, you can tell its better than the cheap Chinese made heater blocks you get in a 5 pack for a couple bucks. The heater block is machined well, the threads are all clean and burr free, and it does a much better job holding in the heater cartridge than the single set screw style heater block that came with my Anet A8. The printer seems to have an easier time maintaining nozzle temperature. I dont know how much of that is due to the better design, or the fact that this comes with a silicone sock, but either way Im happy with my purchase.

> 24 hourJust remember you dont get the thermal tube that goes into the top of the block. That comes with the original hotend. That said, I explained my problem to the sell and they were nice enough to send me a new tube.

> 24 hourSo glad to run across these parts. Thought for sure my Makerbot Replicator 2 was obsolete! These parts has revived my printer to a new higher quality of printer. Thanks

> 24 hourIts a direct replacement for the Microswiss unit but be mindful that the threads for both the nozzle and the heater rod can strip really easily. Thats actually why I needed to replace it, the threads of the nozzle stripped out and it was ruined.
