> 24 hourThis is an extremely soft material and will shear very easily. It just ruined my hotend and I am in the process of replacing the parts because it sheared while being tightened BY HAND with no excessive force. It also cannot withstand any tooling used to attempt and remove the threaded part. It literally strips the material on the internal walls of this nozzle. Overall, it is garbage material that is not worth buying.

> 24 hourThe nickel plating for some reason makes cleaning the nozzle significantly easier. I dont like the price of these, but the slight time savings and increased ease (at least in terms of visibility) has made it worth it to change all three of my printers over to this nozzle.

> 24 hourI had an irremovable clog on my original Lulzbot Mini nozzle and purchased this (and the 0.3mm version) as a replacement. Works great! No setting changes, no issue with auto-level, and very clean prints. I cant say whether the plating makes any difference; Im just starting to work will metal-filled filaments (like Colorfabbs Brassfill) so well see how it wears. Search for Howto: Change Hexagon hotend nozzle on the web; it should take you to the lulzbot forum posting (with pictures!) that I followed in changing the nozzle. It wasnt hard, but be careful: the nozzle is brass and the heater block it screws into is aluminum. Cross-threading can ruin both. Aluminum expands more than brass, which (along with softening any plastic residue) is why you need to do this with the hot end HOT.
