> 3 dayI upgraded my Lulzbot Taz 6 with a hardened steel nozzle after my stock one had gotten worn out. I had some problems with layer adhesion and prints sticking to the bed. So I tried this nozzle out. It fit perfectly, the flow was fantastic and the layer adhesion problems I was having were fixed. One very minor critique with the nozzle was that I was unable to fit any sockets I had over the nozzle to torque it down to factory settings. Had to use an 8mm wrench and snug it down instead. Havent had any leaks or issues with it, but it was a little unnerving knowing if I tweaked it a little too hard I could ruin my hotend... but thats also why lulzbot doesnt recommend swapping the nozzle.

> 3 dayAllow me to go a little more in-depth on this review . . . The nozzle works excellently and does what its supposed to. It is better than stock for flow and clean-up. However, installation is tricky. The one star review who supposedly ruined the hot end obviously cross threaded it from the get go, which is a huge no-no. Even if the nozzle is over tightened, the BRASS nozzle will not likely ruin the STEEL hot end when threaded appropriately. The person may have also not been using a Lulzbot Hexagon hot end, because its very difficult to ruin steel threading with brass threading. The brass threading will almost always strip first. When installing this, be very careful. Tighten slowly and by hand (use some type of heat insulator, like a hot pad) with the hot end set to approximately 165 C. Do not over tighten. When it is snug, do a test print. If it leaks, tighten it just a tad more. Do another test print. If it leaks, tighten it just a tad more. You get the idea. Proceed very slowly and carefully. I did end up having to use a wrench a little bit to keep it from leaking without thread locker. Some people say a thread locker is not required. I say, Resbond 907TS Blue if you want to secure it against leaks while ensuring it doesnt have to be overtightened.

> 3 dayReplaced the nozzle on my Taz 5 after a year of use on the stock nozzle. I reached a point I couldnt clean it and not jam up. I ordered a micro swiss nozzle. Im blown away by the lines Im laying down now. I dont know if it was the wear on stock nozzle or the benefits of TwinClad XT Coating but its a HUGE difference. I was able to replace the stock nozzle without having to adjust the z-axis settings or level the bed.

> 3 dayI had an irremovable clog on my original Lulzbot Mini nozzle and purchased this (and the 0.3mm version) as a replacement. Works great! No setting changes, no issue with auto-level, and very clean prints. I cant say whether the plating makes any difference; Im just starting to work will metal-filled filaments (like Colorfabbs Brassfill) so well see how it wears. Search for Howto: Change Hexagon hotend nozzle on the web; it should take you to the lulzbot forum posting (with pictures!) that I followed in changing the nozzle. It wasnt hard, but be careful: the nozzle is brass and the heater block it screws into is aluminum. Cross-threading can ruin both. Aluminum expands more than brass, which (along with softening any plastic residue) is why you need to do this with the hot end HOT.

> 3 dayThis is an extremely soft material and will shear very easily. It just ruined my hotend and I am in the process of replacing the parts because it sheared while being tightened BY HAND with no excessive force. It also cannot withstand any tooling used to attempt and remove the threaded part. It literally strips the material on the internal walls of this nozzle. Overall, it is garbage material that is not worth buying.

> 3 dayWorks great. Be careful replacing the tip. But it this took care on my needs and the heat ratio seems to be good in all the different filament types.
