> 3 dayReplaced the nozzle on my Taz 5 after a year of use on the stock nozzle. I reached a point I couldnt clean it and not jam up. I ordered a micro swiss nozzle. Im blown away by the lines Im laying down now. I dont know if it was the wear on stock nozzle or the benefits of TwinClad XT Coating but its a HUGE difference. I was able to replace the stock nozzle without having to adjust the z-axis settings or level the bed.

> 3 dayI now have four LULZBOT machines in my ever-growing army of plastic-squirting CNC-doohickies. It is pretty much standard operating procedure here to replace all stock brass nozzles with new MicroSwiss nozzles as soon as they arrive. Lulzbot Mini #2 was no exception. I cant say enough good things about Micro Swiss and their products. When you run 25 machines 7 days a week every hour counts -- and I simply do not have time for brass nozzles and the many associated failings that come with them. Micro Swiss- accept nothing less.

> 3 dayMy TAZ 5 came with a .35 mm nozzle and it generally worked okay. I have had a number of clogs with it and it takes about a day to clean with acetone. So, I was anxious to try this larger nozzle. It seems like the later TAZs have been shipping with a .5 nozzle. At the very least, I figured that this nozzle could be a spare to use if my .35 clogged. But, once I installed this nozzle, I have left it in. No clogs so far. I havent noticed any print degradation.

> 3 dayIve been using these for over a year now and its a fine product. Ive had no jams, clogs or other nozzle related problems since and it still looks like it just came out of the box. The plating doesnt oxidize so it doesnt mess with the ohmic height sensing (obviously you need to wipe off any excess non-conductive material between prints). I usually print with PLA because its biodegradable and for the most part it does what I want. I also use abrasive carbon fiber, metallic and high temperature filaments from time to time. Ive yet to see the slightest indication any degradation. The price is reasonable, installation is easy so its pretty much a no-brainer upgrade for your Lulzbot.
