Ordered to use at work, failed X-ray !! If you dont mind trashy welds..... these work great. If you want clean welds.... order something else, tungsten is super soft and tips break off easily with any real amperage. May work in light automotive applications but not for industrial use at 175-225amps. We tried to go to purple end but ended up back with ol faithful 2% red.

Good tungstens.

I was using a Purple tip and having trouble working with Aluminum. I changed to using the lanthanated and it is better. The tip is lasting longer etc. I am still having some issue with a jumping arc but that is not due to the electrode.
