Replaced it and WALLA - it no longer stinks and it has much better suction. I probably read the directions when we got the Miele 5 years ago but I forgot about checking and replacing the filter!

Greater than one weekThis filter does not fit the S7 Twist Upright model. I cannot review the quality of the filter, as it does not fit my vacuum.
