Otherwise, Im sure its fine on the correct machine. The correct filter does the job. I wish Id realized before I tried it in my Miele.

We have three dogs and although I love them to death, prefer not to smell them, lol. This charcoal filter really does eliminate the odor. Folks are frequently surprised to learn I have indoor dogs as it works so well!

Every time I use my Miele canister vacuum, theres a strange sour smell in the air. After reading various filter reviews, I realized the smell was probably related to vacuuming up dog hair so I bought these filters even though they were much more expensive than the regular kind without charcoal. The first time I used this filter, there was no smell at all, which was great. But since then, the smell bad returned every single time. My dog is not an excessive shedder so I dont know why the vaccuum exhaust stinks so much. I should have just bought the cheaper filters if the only way to get rid of the smell is to change the bag after every vacuuming.

This is a great product. Fits my vacuum exactly. Wasnt happy with delivery. Was supposed to be delivered in 1 day. It took four days and was just thrown over my fence into the grass. (It could have been put on the driveway over the gate).

Genuine Miele Filter. If you are reading reviews on these and others, get the Miele ones. The other aftermarket ones just never seem to fit/seal properly which defeats the purpose of having a Hepa filter.

Dont need this yet but keeping as a back up. Miele ROCKS!

OEM bags are the best for this vacuum

These are more expensive than some of the aftermarket filters, but those also have some less than stellar reviews. I use this in my Champaign model Miele canister and it contains the odors from cleaning up lots of dog hair.
