Miele Active AirClean Filter with TimeStrip Filter for Miele Vacuum Cleaners

This filter is a must have if youre a pet owner. Helps to eliminate the dander and that dog smell. A little pricey, but Miele recommends to replace them once a year, so its not too bad.

Fits my vacuum - and unlike others that are secondary market - this is an actual Miele!

It seems to do the job. I mean, how do you know!? Havent noticed any great clouds of dust in the air.

Was really great at capturing pet odors for the first 3-5 uses, after that, it was no different than a standard filter.

product fit my vac but was not a true HEPA filter. HEPAs are made of folded paper as you well know. This was black plastic with holes in it. The interior appeared to be layers of different kinds of media. Will buy direct from MFG if possible next time. Would not recommend.

I have two little Rescue dogs, 3 # Yorkie and 9# Poodle mix, darling lil pals. NEITHER sheds. They still pee on carpet sometimes and I think that is what makes bag smell after a few months. I vacuum a small living room and bedroom about once every 10 days, (remember doggies dont shed). Just changed it after 7 months. Stink was terrible. Not sure the charcoal can do much . Changed the bag also. The bag is what smelled the worst!! Love my Meile though!!

Very expensive, have to be replaced constantly as the dog smell just eats through these things. Plus they come through customs and are pre-opened / taped back together. Not worth it for how expensive they are in my experience.
