These lights were delivered 12/31, I put them up 1/1, it is now 1/13 and the lights wouldnt stay on. Id turn them on and within 1 minute theyd shut off. It was driving me nuts, so I came to check reviews. MANY people were complaining about battery life, so I decided to change mine -- surely that wasnt it, since they are soo new and I barely turn them on. Yep!! That was the issue. They have been on for 5 minutes now without shutting off. So, these completely suck the life out of batteries, VERY quickly, and even with minimal use. Moral of this review : if youre going to purchase these, make sure to add a ton of AA batteries to your cart as well, as this takes 3 at a time!!!

The timer function worked great until I bought a second set. Then it stopped working on the first set and didn’t ever on the second. If you like the timer function, then look somewhere else for a reliable name-brand set.

These are beautiful lights, but I find that the lighting program will change several times in an evening for no reason at all. I just wish the program will stay where I set it. It’s possible that other electronics in the house are having some effect on them.

I ordered two of these for my mantel this Christmas and ended up buying five more and even gifting one of them. These lights are so pretty and versatile - especially if you put two strands together and then have them cycling different colors on different times. I really recommend these - cant wait to put mine back up next year! I may get started with Halloween and just keep them on purple, orange, and lime green!

I like these lights though I’m disappointed there is no warm white setting like some others. The orange setting is similar to my salt lamp so that helps. Also be aware that your tv remote control may mess with the setting signals!

My wife and I work from home and with COVID going around, were having trouble keeping our kids (ages 9, 10, & 12) from barging in on us while we are on video calls. So I bought the led lights to use as a red light/green light system. A green light on the door means they can come in, a red light means do not disturb. The remote is functional and the batteries last a few weeks before needing a charge. Great product, just what I was looking for. We plan to string these on our pontoon boat when things get back to normal.

These things are awesome. Brighter than the solar string lights I had outside. Had them out all month long for Halloween and never had to change batteries. Being about to change the colors is so fun. Timer function is great too. I think I ended up getting 8 strings and I’ve used them for all kinds of decorations. And you could even just leave them up for different holidays and change the colors. They also got rained on and didn’t break so that was great, would recommend.

I bought this for me but after receiving it it was better for my six-year-old nephew. He absolutely adores it!. It was an early Christmas present but unfortunately when we turned it on for him I forgot to read that you have to charge it for several hours first! Poor Bowden. But when they got home they called me and he couldn’t stop talking about it perfect for a kid And the price is right so I would say 12 and under. Or as for an adult just fun for a party.

I really loved these lights when I first got them. However, they stopped working and only flash/shine on red green or yellow, they no longer do blues or purples or any other color. They also only have one brightness level, which is very dim.

Compared to other battery operated lights, these ones are definitely brighter! But, the batteries dont last that long -- I find myself having to change them every 2 weeks. If you plan on using these long term, I would suggest purchasing rechargeable AA batteries as well.
