I am a teacher and need battery operated LED lights for my classroom. These are perfect. Multiple colors available. The remote control is a bonus! Price is right too.

If it was just the lights, I would give it 5 stars. The remote set up is ridiculous though. The color buttons and On/Off are the only ones that are easily recognizable. The rest of the buttons (Timer, Flashing, etc) are on on dark gray circles with a tad bit dark lettering. I have to shine a flashlight on the buttons (and even then it is hard to tell what the buttons on) just to be able to see them. They could have very easily used White Font or a different contrast color to make it easier to read.

I bought these lights about a month ago and thought, these will be cute as I chill in my office. Well, the office is a big vibe but the lights arent. The lights turn off or being to malfunction on the color red when they are on longer than an hour. I switched batteries, changed their orientation, and even returned the original light set with no avail. And now I am writing a review trying to spare any soul from buying these lights. I hate writing reviews but I felt this one in my shondo.

Originally bought just one set of lights for my daughters room. There super fun. Many colors. Many light choices. Remote is easy to use. You get many nights on the strand. Ended up buying another.

I have an LG remote and a fire tv remote. various buttons on the remotes change the fairy lights settings. Pretty darn annoying. I had to result in wrapping the battery control box (which has the IR antennae) in foil and only leave only a small opening. That way if I hold the official remote super close to it, I can still change the settings. But now my other remotes do not affect it. Pretty stupid workaround though.

Overall, these are really great. So far, theyve held up pretty well and the colors are pretty. Some of the things that I think could be improved are the color selection. Some of the colors looks almost identical to each other when on the remote theyre a completely different color. Also, just to clarify, with these lights you cannot create your own colors-if you want to do that I would suggest led lights. Other then these two suggestions, I really like these lights.

Great size & weight for my homemade Halloween costume.

I got these along with some battery operated candles. I have not changed the batteries in the candles, but I have gone through 15 AA batteries in these string lights. The remote is also impractical in that it has black printing on dark grey buttons. Impossible to see in low light. Nice color, and several (4) program settings make me not return them. I wonder if other similar light sets would be so hard on batteries. Maybe Ill get another set to compare.

If you’re looking for easy to use DIY leds these are the ones, the modes included are quite interesting from bouncing lights into fast zipping pulses. Not to mention the dimming isn’t bad at all and colors pop perfectly for those nice thirst traps so go crazy!
