> 24 hourI have an LG remote and a fire tv remote. various buttons on the remotes change the fairy lights settings. Pretty darn annoying. I had to result in wrapping the battery control box (which has the IR antennae) in foil and only leave only a small opening. That way if I hold the official remote super close to it, I can still change the settings. But now my other remotes do not affect it. Pretty stupid workaround though.

> 24 hourI got these along with some battery operated candles. I have not changed the batteries in the candles, but I have gone through 15 AA batteries in these string lights. The remote is also impractical in that it has black printing on dark grey buttons. Impossible to see in low light. Nice color, and several (4) program settings make me not return them. I wonder if other similar light sets would be so hard on batteries. Maybe Ill get another set to compare.

> 24 hourI am very pleased with this product. We got 2 strands of the lights for camping and found out the battery unit comes with a cord to hook it up to power via usb cable. That in itself is great as an alternative way to power the lights if you have a power pack to plug the lights into. Conserving battery power is great since you have 3 settings for the brightness of the lights and the remote makes changing all of the settings easy to use.

> 24 hourThe lights sometimes have a mind of their own. Also the brightness only goes up a certain level and after you have them running for a few goes they will dim them self.

> 24 hourI felt this product was the answer to my decorating needs but I was completely let down. The description was right but operationally the lights work for a short while, then they go into a fast blink. Even when the batteries are changed out, the lights start the blinking shortly after being turned on. Their customer service department blames it on the user, and does not try to make the situation right. Do no waste your money on this product. It’s a scam.

> 24 hourThese lights were delivered 12/31, I put them up 1/1, it is now 1/13 and the lights wouldnt stay on. Id turn them on and within 1 minute theyd shut off. It was driving me nuts, so I came to check reviews. MANY people were complaining about battery life, so I decided to change mine -- surely that wasnt it, since they are soo new and I barely turn them on. Yep!! That was the issue. They have been on for 5 minutes now without shutting off. So, these completely suck the life out of batteries, VERY quickly, and even with minimal use. Moral of this review : if youre going to purchase these, make sure to add a ton of AA batteries to your cart as well, as this takes 3 at a time!!!

> 24 hourlove the look when youre done. hated getting it that way. the wire is stiff, which is good for making shapes, but bad for handling and detangling. remote is slow to respond. if you have several strands lit, one remote can run them all. this is good if you want them all the same, difficult if you want the strands to do different things.

> 24 hourDoesnt work as they should, replaced with brand new batteries for the lights and remote but all they do is a low light rapidly blinking so they are a waste of money only lasted about 5 weeks and only turning them on about a dozen times so I cant get a refund or exchange so buyer beware just some Chinese made junk thats going into the trash can
