Nice item. Easy to read but still very small. Stick taped to my clock so it is easily checked. Indoor temperature is spot on accurate too

I use this primarily for the humidity sensor, and keep it next to my small animal cages. Our house tends to be dry, and this lets me know if I need to raise the humidity in the room. Breathing on the sensor shows an increase in humidity relatively quickly, and the steady state humidity reading matches well with another sensor we have in the house. Recommended!

Digital readout creates the illusion of accuracy which is not always there. I received two of these and immediately put them into a salt test. Google HYGROMETER SALT TEST. In a sealed zip-loc bag with a bottle cap of water saturated table salt, the hygrometer should read 75% after 6-10 hours. After ten hours, one reads 61% and the other reads 65%. That means the instrument reading has to be multiplied by a factor of error to arrive at the correct relative humidity. In my case, MULTIPLIER x 61 = 75% so MULTIPLIER = 75 divided by 61 Hence, MULTIPLIER = 1.2295082. 61x1.2295082 = 75. SO, if I take the reading from the device and multiply it by 1.2295082 I should get the correct reading. Remember that the Relative Humidity will change with the air temperature. If you are trying to maintain an environment of a set RH you will also have to control temperature. For a reasonably priced product I can live with an error of 5% or less. Sure, you can add the percent of error to the reading but should you have to? Ill be returning these two units because of the unacceptable percent of error. Test yours, it may be fine. I wonder how they are calibrated at the factory. PS The temperature reading is the smaller number in the upper right corner in Fahrenheit.

I use this to check the humidity of my guitars. It arrived quickly, with a set of batteries installed and an extra set in the box - a nice touch. It is accurate and easily fits in a guitar case. You cant beat the value for the price.

These help me alot and I keep getting more. Love there little size and accurate reading.

I bought this because I wanted to know the temperature of the sauna at my local gym. It was only reading about 106°, but with 70% humidity. Not sure if I believe it or not. Temperature seem to be fairly accurate when I used it outside or in my car.

It’s easy to read the humidity percentage and the temp but I wish it came with something to hang it with such as a suction cup or something else for uses with reptile tanks and such.

Bought 1 initially for use in a cigar tupperdor using 69% humidity bovida packs. It measured 63% humidity and stayed that way. It didn’t seem right to me so I bought a 2nd one of the same hygrometer and this one is reading 68% so I believe the 2nd one is accurate +/- 1. I’d recommend going with a different brand as you shouldn’t have to by multiple to get and accurate reading.

Perfect. Easy to use. Nothing to do but place it into the incubator from package. The last one lasted almost 2 years. Great price. No frills.
