I did some washing to prevent it. The whole unit is nice but the plastic taste on the water is a big turn off. Not sure how to deal with that. Comfortable and light.

It is a great pack. It is going to work perfectly for what it is intended for day tripping (hiking biking kayaking ect.

Great little hydration backpack for the money. Just finished my second hike wearing it. I like the insulated part that keeps my water colder & the front pocket & side zipper pockets are great. I have wondered why the sides don’t have insulation sewn into them too. I laughed when I was reading the water bladder because “Water” is spelt wrong on item #2 under “Care and Cleaning Instructions”. It states to “rinse with wate”.

Looks good - especially the insulated packet for the water bladder.

Wow. For less than $30, I couldnt be more pleased. Took this on a strenous 10 mile hike today and it performed wonderfully. Backpack: Comfortable and breathes. The size is great, enough room for the full bladder and other items like snacks and such. The thermal foil inside keeps water cool longer than a standard hydro pack. Color is nice as well. Bladder: As a hiker, I have tried my share of these, and I actually like this better than my more expensive ones. 2 liters, easy to fill/close and sits well in the pack. Love that the hose nozzle has a cover to keep out dirt, easy to drink while walking/hiking; very soft bite (most others I have tried hurt my teeth). Also, no gross chemical taste.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Easy to use - does the job! Don’t forget to add ice when filling with water! Keeps cooler, longer!
