Ive been researching the purchase of a Faraday bag for months, and finally purchased the Non-Window Faraday Bag for Laptops and after a number of tests decided I needed the Mojave Faraday Phone Bag/Multi-Functional Travel case. Now I feel my data is safe when travelling.

We actually got this as a project for one of my daughter’s classes. We wanted to test ways to block signals and WiFi strength and while my originally we were going to build a Faraday box, this bag seemed to be the easily solution to run our tests on without spending a ton of time on prepping. Soon as it arrived we began out tests and theories. I was super impressed with the size. Not only is there enough space for my laptop, but I tossed the phones and various other items in with room to spare. The material feels durable. I will admit, being my first time with such a bag, I was not sure what kind of material to really expect. It has a nice exterior and is professional looking. I could envision this being used in any professional forensic setting. We ran an assortment of various tests with the bag, laptop, phones and routers and the bag did exactly as intended and blocked signal in all the settings. Although we do not expect to need to utilize the bag frequent and have since just added it to our emergency supplies, I am impressed with the craftsmanship and will consider this brand for future purchases of the like. Does what its supposed to so far as I can tell. Definitely killed the reception of my phone when I stuck it in the bag. I bought this for prep as well as security purposes in the unlikely event of EMP issues such as solar flares and whatnot. With the ever increasing reach of technology who knows WHAT people/big brother will be able to do as far as accessing your electronics via wifi, bluetooth, etc. in the years to come. Ive heard your cell can be activated even when its off if theres a signal. Lets go ahead and nip that in the bud by just blocking all transmissions lol. The bag was much larger than I gauged by the pictures. Wont even fit in my backpack without bunching, so Id say it would definitely fit most any full-size laptop or electronic of comparable dimensions. Once again, a great product thus far :)

Easy to carry. I just didn’t like the Velcro part.

I was very pleased with this bag. It is very large, even bigger than I thought it would be. My laptop fits easily. The bag is very durable. It doesnt feel like it will wear out for a long time. It is nice and thick, not flimsy at all. Closing it is very easy. Everything works as I expected. Very pleased. If I ever need this type of product again, I will be right back here. I have included pictures which show the instructions on the top, as well as the other side, and a picture with my hand to show the size.

I thought this bag was protecting my valuable digital devices, based on the assumption that it works the way it claims. When I emailed customer support, immediately following a phone call that was heard from inside the bag. I asked if all radio waves are supposed to be blocked, and here is the answer I received: (Mine is in impeccable shape.) Thank you for your email. It is possible for the bag to stop blocking signals after heavy usage. The fabric can rip/tear/deteriorate over time due to usage and placing objects in the bag. The best way to know for sure if the bag is working, is by downloading the Faraday Test app and testing the signal blockage of the bags.
