Both pieces, the phone bag and the laptop bag, 2 piece purchase, are of a heavy duty fabric. I placed my cell phone inside them individually and tried calling my sell phone and it would not receive my phone call when it was in either bag. Really nice that they really shield.

The Mission Darkness Faraday bag works. It will block out any Radio, Scanning or wireless frequency. As this is made for Law Enforcement it is made with Professional Quality in mind. The bag itself is really tough. I will say that it is durable and will protect your devices from unwanted Frequencies either by Hackers trying to hack into your devices or if your travelling and want to protect your Passport/Credit Cards/Devices. If you want to test it out you can call a cellphone and wait for it to Ring. Secondly call it again, but this time have the phone in the bag, but with the bag closed. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to Block out any Frequencies or want your phone signal to die, so you are not tracked.

In times like this it is especially important to protect your electronics and this bag although way larger than I needed (I thought) is excellent. It holds my apple laptop and two kindles and my phone and my router when I am not using them. I was pleasantly surprised. I hope I never need them but my background in the girl scouts make me... to be prepared.

Havent had any EMPs lately so I dont know how my computer will fare if that should happen. However, I havent had any problems with outside elements trying to access my computer since I started using this Faraday bag. This bag gives me a much greater sense of security during the night knowing my laptop is safe. As times are becoming more and more dangerous electronically, its nice to know theres a way to secure our interests. So far I like this Faraday bag. Thanks Mission Darkness. James

As far as I can tell, it works great. However I dont think it can block ultrasonic sound.

This Faraday bag does exactly what it is advertised to do and it does it well. Plenty of space for a laptop (even the older bulkier ones). I would recommend this product to anyone.

Put what you can fit in there, close it up, and BAM no signal from anything.

This laptop faraday bag is likely the best on the market for securing crime scene evidence. Other faraday bags will claim to be high shielding, or military grade, but I will attest first hand to the fact that they are not all what they claim. Unfortunately a bunch of non-forensic products exist and it can be hard to identify the legitimate ones.
