> 3 dayI bought this because the budget version I was using was wearing out or somehow got damaged. This is somewhat more expensive, but not by that much, and it just works better. The motion of the head at the edge point is significantly more, so easier to see, and when you back off a little, it comes right back to the center. For work with students, who dont always take it as slow as they should, this makes a big difference.

> 3 dayI had never actually used one before nor had I ever even seen one used but am quite impressed how repeatable the accuracy is. Im sure there are better units I could buy but I dont see why.

> 3 dayThe Mitutoyo name is synonymous with high quality. Product is VERY well made and has a beautifully machined finish. The accuracy of it is dead on the money! There are other brands that are much more costly but arent any more accurate so why pay more!

> 3 dayIt works! It may be their bargain line but it does work well. I would buy this again. It seems well made too. MUCH better than the eBay cheapies from China. Those are not worth the aggravation.

> 3 dayThis edge finder was exactly what I needed for my basement shop. I bought an ENCO Drill Mill several years ago and finally got a chance to use it to make some parts for my sons gaming chairs. The edge finder is of excellent quality and comes in handy protective plastice pouch. I may purchase a 1/2 Edge Finder for use with a 1/2 collet.

Greater than one weekSeems to work OK. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it. I wouldnt trust it for something that needs to super precise but it will get you within a few thousandths.

> 3 dayIt is a little stiff when trying to find a fixture offset but it started to loosen up after 4 different set ups
