> 3 dayI bought this a couple of weeks back. I have used it as an overnight bag, a light day pack whilst on a 3D Archery Range in the Australian Bush, and most recently on a 2 hour Bush walk in temps over 35c / 95f.

> 3 dayI researched for months, hunting down the ultimate, most durable, most organizable, purse-size EDC bag. It has everything I wanted--and is durable, organizable, and purse-size. But lets face it: this bag isnt attractive. It isnt fashionable. It isnt even capable of being made more attractive. No amount of puff paint or glitter is going to turn this beast into a beauty contestant. The strap is difficult to adjust, making it hard to carry over a shoulder, and it makes my back hurt when worn cross-body. And its HEAVY. Filled with my normal girly purse-type stuff, it clocked in at almost fifteen pounds without a water bottle. Plus, I noticed that Id get some weird looks when I was carrying it in stores, even with the Im so not a scary person patches (medic, WFR, girl pirate, St. Michael). I so wanted to love this bag, but it just didnt happen. I still have it, and Im hoping we can turn it into a diaper bag in the future, but it doesnt work for EDC. Instead, I turned to the Timbuk2 Eula, which gives up a bit in the organization department, but I dont get stares or feel like Im the least fashionable woman on the planet (but lets face it, I am). The Eula is also waterproof, much lighter, easier to adjust for multiple ways of carrying, and it is half the cost of the Mongo.

> 3 dayGreat bag. The description made it seem that putting a medium size laptop in it might be difficult but this is not the case.

> 3 daygreat bag! worth the money! th quality o the bag is great, i wish they would use better material for the zipper pulls. i switched them out with some paracord. i love how versatile the organization is. this bag meets the needs for several situations and is comfortable to carry.

08-06-2025I purchased this when I upgraded from a 7inch tablet to the Microsoft Surface Pro and needed a larger bag to carry it. The Surface, in its carrying case, fits into the Mongo quite easily while not being excessively loose, and still leave quite a bit of room width wise for other items. The lack of a 5th star is due to one of the pockets being extremely hard to access until I spent almost a month with it packed full of paper towels to form it.

> 3 dayOk, first of all its a shame that such a great product wasnt made in the U.S. This bag, is really on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for, everything is just sturdy, even when I need to sprint across the airport I just fasten the hip strap to my waist and I can just be carefree. Say you need to go through rain? no problem, the water just slides against the fabric. Doesnt even smell bad in damp conditions. This is a heavy bag though, I usually pack my netbook in it, a full sized knife, a flashlight, wifi device, tactical pen. First aid kit. and sometimes a gun. I know its overkill, but sometimes those long camping trips just need one bag where you can say this is emergency bag

> 3 dayIm using this as a daddy diaper bag. Love it. Tactical, functional, and great quality. ONly thing that frustrates me, as they do on all Maxpedition products is the nylon pull cords.. the knots come undone. They need to install keepers on them.

> 3 dayThis bag is awesome. Constructed well and it has lots of room and compartments for various supplies. Would buy this and any other bag by this company in a heart beat.
