This is a great bag. Well built, durable and fits my 62 250lb frame well. Concealed pocket is tight but still holds my Sig P226 .40.

Stepped up from a jumbo Versipack. The Mongo is basically the same thing but a couple inches wider. In some of the Maxpedition page images, this think looks to be about the size of a very large briefcase. It’s not that huge, at best a smaller medium size. It’s a great size for my everyday, and fits a full size iPad very well, even with the iPad in an otter box defender and then in a big casefolio. Love this bag.

This bag is awesome I use it on a daily basis to carry the stuff I need to get me around. I am legally blind and with this bag it allows me to store all of necessary equipment that i may need with me in a safe place while using my cane while walking and getting around.

All I can say is that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag. I almost bought one of the smaller Versipacks, but Im glad I got this one. One of my major concerns was that I hadnt actually held this in my hands, I was buying off the internet. I didnt actually know how big it would be and what I could fit inside.

I bought this almost a year ago today, July 28, 2018 to be exact. Do I like the bag, YES! The one I have is very sturdy some reviews have stated stitching problems and even being too stiff. To each his own as they say.

I researched for months, hunting down the ultimate, most durable, most organizable, purse-size EDC bag. It has everything I wanted--and is durable, organizable, and purse-size. But lets face it: this bag isnt attractive. It isnt fashionable. It isnt even capable of being made more attractive. No amount of puff paint or glitter is going to turn this beast into a beauty contestant. The strap is difficult to adjust, making it hard to carry over a shoulder, and it makes my back hurt when worn cross-body. And its HEAVY. Filled with my normal girly purse-type stuff, it clocked in at almost fifteen pounds without a water bottle. Plus, I noticed that Id get some weird looks when I was carrying it in stores, even with the Im so not a scary person patches (medic, WFR, girl pirate, St. Michael). I so wanted to love this bag, but it just didnt happen. I still have it, and Im hoping we can turn it into a diaper bag in the future, but it doesnt work for EDC. Instead, I turned to the Timbuk2 Eula, which gives up a bit in the organization department, but I dont get stares or feel like Im the least fashionable woman on the planet (but lets face it, I am). The Eula is also waterproof, much lighter, easier to adjust for multiple ways of carrying, and it is half the cost of the Mongo.

I love this bag. So much so, Ive purchased a second. One exclusively for work, and the other used as an EDC lite-bug out. The material is great, tough and sturdy. Enough pockets for whatever it is you want to tote (i.e. conceal) wink-wink. Its also very versatile and NON cumbersome, meaning its not clumsy or awkward in appearance or to carry. Like many other packs, satchels or slings, they are either too small, thin material, uncomfortable, not enough pockets or they are inconveniently placed. Not this bag.

I was looking for a good EDC bag for work and as a VOL Firefighter / EMT. Enough room for my EDC gear and a small IFAK. I can fit a iPad Pro 12 inch in the main compartment. New the bag is stiff and needs some breaking in time. All materials used are good and the bag is well built. All in all it is a great bag.

This is a great bag for all your edc needs. All sorts of compartments and pockets to store all that you may need in a day. The back Pocket has been great for storing my firearm when its not convenient to wear in the supertuck. In the top pocket the little sleeves are great for holding the bit sets for my leatherman. The phone pocket holds the phone nice and snug even without the buckle snapped in. The water bottle slot holds my 1000ml camel back nicely. The one grip I can think of is the lack of a grab handle. That aside I couldnt be happier with the Mongo

Large and in-charge, the mongo has a massive main compartment surrounded by plenty of slip & zippered pockets, Rear CCW storage, phone pouch, a large array of attachment points, and tons of loop field for patches & accessories. The mongo holds true to the ergonomic Versipack design, so you can load it up and it won"t drag you down. Equipped with a comfortable shoulder and waist strap and a rear padded Island that conforms to the body, This spacious everyday carry is a great work bag, camera bag, Diaper bag or short-excursion bag. If you love the jumbo Versipack but need more space, The mongo Versipack is just the bag for you.
