I bought monoprice speaker cable after reading reviews this was for my cinema setup because their are long distances it’s recommended to use a thick gauge cable plus with wire that is to be installed in walls and ceilings you should use a fire resistance wire this monoprice cable is great value also their are different length rolls

very well packaged and easy to install. We used this in an outdoor application, run from each of the speakers connected to the 14AWG 4-Conductor wires. They seem well made, and I hope they last a very long time!

Exactly what I wanted to extend my ham radio AH-4 tuner control line. I added 35 to the original 15 length. This 4 conductor 18# gage cable is a perfect match to the color code of the AH-4 ICOM HF Tuner. There are many uses for this multi-strand conductor cable. The conductor strands are not tinned and would not be good for a marine environment or road salt environment.

I bought this Cable because the online store where i just got my PA Powered Subwoofers from said i needed 18 AWG 4 conductor cables. These are the crappiest cables ever. I have older 4 conductor cables from 5-10 years ago i bought from monoprice that i still have that are great. You can tell the difference. they were so strong, so well made. These cables i just ordered and received are paper thin. They are truly crap. Dont buy. Its the worst mistake you will make if you have to do in wall installation. i Installed these cables in wall this morning. The cables are so poorly made i had to come back here to read what other customers are saying about it. Thank God came a read the reviews. Now i have to go snake some better cables for my Subwoofers before my contractor close the walls. It must be another company selling off brands Monoprice cables on Amazon. In 20 years ordering from Monoprice, This is the first time i have encountered such poor product. And i always order directly from Monoprice. Because of time constraint i had to order them on Amazon to get 2 days delivery. I have to wonder, if these cables are coming from the real Monoprice company or an off brand at Amazon.

Suitable for the purpose.

I bought the 14 gauge 250 ft wire for my open space living room and wired up a 5.1.4 system with front height speakers and rear ceiling speakers. I wired all the speakers except the center and rear surround speakers. I have a little bit left. Room is about 15x20 or larger with 9 ft ceilings.
