While the actual wire used has a nice heavy jacket and seems like it would stand up to normal use, the connectors at either end are rather cheaply made and are not sturdy at all. They appear to be made in two pieces, a left and right half, and they arent held tightly together. If youre using this cable make sure you pack a couple of extras.
