> 3 dayUnless you are always squeezing and stepping on your cables and need to be absolutely certain your cables will last no matter what, there is absolutely no reason to spend more. Dont get me wrong, these are already very sturdy cables. Its just I cant imagine another reason to buy more expensive cables. And to me there is something wrong with your application if you need cables more sturdy than these.

> 3 dayRemoved from packaging, plunged in, does not work... super cheap in quality, VERY POOR. The mononprice chord I ordered at the same time was of MUCH higher quality.

> 3 dayI bought two of these in March. I use them ONCE A WEEK for about SIX HOURS max. About mid August, one stopped working. So I got approximately 100-120 hours of use--which isnt good. On the other hand, they LOOK nice.

Greater than one weekWorked fine for a couple of months. I didnt really touch it much either, its just been sitting in the same spot going from my headphone output to an amplifier. Suddenly one day my speakers started buzzing. Messing around with the cable, I found that I can pull the cable away from the connector in a certain way that stops the buzzing, but I cant keep the cable in that position. Ended up switching it for a HOSA cable which works like a charm. A cable is such a simple thing I wouldnt expect to break. Shame too that this one broke after the return period too, so Im stuck with it. Shouldve just bought the HOSA one to start with.

> 3 dayJust got these. Im using them as balanced cables between my Presonus Quantum 2626 and Yamaha HS5s and the noise is now GONE! Prior to these cables I had connected standard, good-quality electric guitar cables between the 2626 OUT and speaker input jacks, but I was getting a lot of static, pops and fizzes (I could hear it when I moved a browser window, for crying out loud!). Thought it might be due to the thunderbolt cable but got a new one and it didnt solve the noise. However, these balanced cables have done the trick. Not directly related: the Presonus 2626 is great. Im using it with Studio One on Windows 10 and its very fast, and now very quiet. It was worth the upgrade to my system so I could install the gigabyte thunderbolt PCI card.

> 3 dayAlthough the quality of the sound coming through these cables is great, the levels are nowhere near identical for cables of identical model and length. I initially thought my new audio interface was defective because the left channel was very noticeably louder than the right. After numerous experiments, I discovered that swapping the two cables caused the right channel to be louder than the left. This proved that the source of the problem was the cables. These cables are pretty good if you need only one, but I do not recommend getting them if you need a matched stereo pair.
