I was a bit nervous about ordering this product because of the price. Typically you get what you pay for but this company has a wonderful product here. The first thing you will notice when the package arrives is how heavy it is. It is a good 10 pounds or so. When you open the package it is clearly well thought out. Everything is labeled, you get two different types of levels which you will use, an hdmi cable and three velcro wire wraps. Once you take everything out of the box it gets better. There is a mounting template on the bottom which you can drill straight through. The template has peel and stick sides to make it easier. Since I mounted my 55 tv above my fireplace into brick I took measurements to find the exact center of the bricks. I then cut out a hole in the middle of the template and lined it up...from there it was just all about leveling. There is a stick on level that sticks right to the template which is ok for just basic leveling but you will need the larger level that comes with it to make sure everything is straight. The package comes with bolts and plastic anchors that are meant for concrete/brick but I chose to not use them; I instead went to Home Depot and purchased Tapcon anchor bolts because they are so easy to use. Once I got the primary mount up and leveled properly it was time to attach the bars to the tv. There are plenty of mounting hole options for different positions and it comes with various size bolts, spacers and washers to work with just about any tv. Once those bars were on I pulled the articulating arm all the way out and lifted the tv into place. It was that simple. Once the tv was up there it was clear that this mount was more than adequate to handle the task, it is very sturdy and moving the tv is fairly easy. This mount is so nice I plan to buy two more to mount my other tvs in the house. You certainly cannot go wrong with this mount, the name Mounting Dream is very fitting.

Was easy to install the introduction were very straightforward.

First of all it is very good support. It mounted well and with no hiccups although the wall plate is just barely big enough for the 16 spaced studs and TV brackets are barely big enough for the 400x400 VESA. No issues with any of that but if you have anything even remotely out of spec youll be in bad luck. I also have an Echo mount for my other TV and the difference between them lays in minor details. The functionality is the same and the quality is very similar but Echo has a few more touches like covers for the lag screws that attach the bracket to the wall and cable hangers instead of Velcro ties only. I also prefer Echo 1-screw leveling system over 4 screw one on this one. The one here gives you more options but if you need them you probably did something really wrong when mounting the wall plate. All of these are minor differences but if the bracket can be seen from certain angles with your installation Id go with Echo, otherwise Mounting Dream is a way to go.

I have three other tvs in the house that I have mounted on Mounting Dream racks, but most are the single arm, vertical mount style. This was the first one where I needed to mount between studs so I switched to this style. I was not disappointed. Like the other mounts, seems to be well made and durable and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Took me a little longer than typical to install, mainly because I was installing underneath another TV and wanted to get it exactly perfect so I spent a lot more time taking measurements, etc. than typical. All in all I have no doubt this will hold up for a long time and I have no concerns my TV is going anywhere, and has plenty of options for moving around the screen as needed!

This mount is great! I can’t believe the quality for the price. Very sturdy and It does exactly what we wanted, which is to pull out, go up and down and side to side. It was very easy to install. They even put an HDMI cable, a little level in the box along with all the hardware etc and a guide to help you get it where you want on the wall. The one and only thing I can say is the bracket is 16” on the dot so you have to make sure you’re right in the center of the studs. Definitely DO NOT hang this directly into your dry wall. It’s way too heavy, that along with the weight of the tv will definitely cause it to fall. Luckily the mount has that warning written all over it. I’d buy this over and over again.

Seems like a great mount but the 16” stud holes are right in the edge. Doesn’t put it in the center of 16” spaced studs. So hope your studs are true and your placement of screws. Should’ve made it a little wider.

I dont usually bother writing reviews, but this wall mount is of such high quality that I figured I should chime in and share. The instructions were easy to follow and the whole process took me about an hour (including clearing / moving my desk). The unit is heavy duty and well built. I really like how adjustable it is even after you have the wall plate hung. Ive adjusted where the tv hangs on the rail laterally and then repositioned the rails to bring the screen down a few inches on the wall and now its perfect! Theres also little screws to level it if you messed that up during the install, which thankfully I didnt have to use despite being a complete newbie to wall mounting a tv and not being very handy in general.

Used to install my new Samsung 43 inch 4K TV which only weighs about 20 pounds. Mine is an older house with 16 inch stud spacing so it is fully compatible. The TV has 200mm Vesa mounting holes spacing so the mount allows adjustment of the TV about 4 either side of center on the mount in addition to the side to side adjustment of the articulated TV mounting arms. The mount allows a wide range of TV angle adjustments which allows me to adjust the TV to not show reflections from the large window in the living room it is in. Lots of hardware furnished so the mounting of the TV is pretty universal. The Samsung uses the largest bolts to install the mounting brackets, 8mm x 40mm as I recall. The only problem I had was getting the bolts to not want to cross thread in the mounting holes in the TV and I am not sure if the problem was the TV or the provided mounting bolts but their installation was quite fiddly and took some time as I was careful to not force things.

This TV mount held strong with 205 MPH gusts for 6+ hours...what more can you ask for? We liked it before the Hurricane but this is a true testament to how durable it is!
