Now I know why so many people loved this mount and rated it so highly! Background: I mounted a 60 Samsung TV (yeah, I know it is supposed to only go up to 55, but the weight of my TV was only 46 lbs so I took a chance) on this wall mount. It was easy to install, easy to adjust, and looks really nice! Installation: The installation was a breeze. The template made it super easy to drill pilots for the studs and the mini level made sure it was perfectly level. I did need someone (my 8 year-old daughter handled this perfectly) to be behind the TV to guide me to align the TV on the mount. Mounting hardware: YES, this mount came with a ton of extra mounting hardware for different sized TVs. I read mixed reviews and bought extra VESA screws and didnt need them. Final Thoughts: I cannot believe how inexpensive this mount is for how durable it is, the fact that it came with all mounting hardware, and how adjustable it is. Im very happy with this and would definitely buy this all over again if I get another TV.

This was super easy to install. Looks great and frees up a lot of space. Came with these velcro type strips, no idea what they are for.

I am not a handy dude kind of person and I was able to install it in 40 minutes or less! No joke! The instructions manual is really helpful and self explanatory. The key point is (and has to be really clear) to identify the stud inside the wall and then identify the center point of the stud where you will drill. Then the rest is easy. You just need to place the paper that has exactly where you need to drill the holes (comes in the package) right in the center of the stud, then the 4 holes will be clear to you where to drill. It is really sturdy and I had no concern to hang my 55 inch LED TV. I was really confident it would be fine. It even comes with a bubble level to place on the paper diagram so you can level the bracket. One advice: it helps if someone helps you to hold the bracket while you are tightening the long screws, because the bracket itself is kinda heavy. Also identify the distance of your studs. Mine was 16 apart. But older homes could be 18 or 20, but if this is your case, the manual will instruct you. Again: Identify the stud and follow the instructions. Do not (repeat after me) DO NOT use this bracket ONLY on the dry wall. You need a solid and reliable stud inside the dry wall to place your screws.

This mount was very easy to install and very easy to work with. I had very little problems mounting my TV on the wall. Feels very solid, and the tilt and swivel functions work great.

This is the second of these mounts I have purchased and installed. In addition to these two I have mounted three other televisions on walls. The latest install with this mount was with a Sony BRAVIA W-Series KDL-52W4100 which according to the purchase info here on Amazon weighs 71 lbs. This mount is rated for TVs up to 99 lbs so one the surface it seems to be within spec. I would rate this 5 stars except that the tilting aspect is clearly not strong enough for TVs over I would guess 50 lbs. I originally had the tilt at just a few (~5) degrees from level. I took extra time making sure the screws were very tight to avoid it slipping to its maximum. However, even with that extra precaution the tilt screws were not strong enough and the TV over time tilted to the end of the travel (full 15 degrees down). To prevent this from happening again I removed the TV, placed bolts in the slots behind the integrated tilt screws to fill the slots and prevent further travel. This seemed to work fine to secure it. Also, the TV mounting screws supplied for my bolt size (M6) were either too short or too long. I had bolts that were in between the supplied lengths on hand from another TV mount that were a better length when used with the supplied stand off plastic spacers and washers. The 5 mm shorter length was critical to get maximum threads in the mounting holes. In general with these mounts expect to play around with spacers or shop for other bolt lengths or additional washers.

Friend of mine recommended this and purchased it shortly after. Price is ideal compared to a local major retailers who wanted almost three times this price for a bracket. Install took less than an hour and the template helps you line up with your spot on the wall. TV is now on the wall and the view is perfect !!

I couldnt wait to write this review. I was so surprised at the level of thought that has gone into this kit at a fraction of the cost of the big box store kits. I needed to install a 50 LED TV on my shop wall. I needed something to pull away from the wall and move so I can see it when I am watching instructional videos in the shop. When I opened the box I couldnt believe how easy the instructions were, how well laid out the part were and the framing/bushings are solid. The kit even came with a stick on level for the template, a magnetic level for the frame, HDMI cable for accessories. It took me about 10 minutes to install completely. The cool part about the hardware is each bolt, washer, spacer, etc was individually vacuum sealed and numbered for ease and the instructions referenced the number in the illustration. You CAN NOT mess up! Too cool!!!!!!! Thank you Mounting Dream for a quality product at a fantastic price!

Excellent product at a great price. 100% recommend it. Do not hesitate due to the low price, there is a reason why it has so many great reviews. I mounted it to a single metal stud (centered) with toggle bolts and it is increadibly sturdy. It comes with a template which makes the process supereasy, and it also comes with an HDMI cable, strips to arrange wires and a little plastic lever. What else can you ask for? The wall plate has many holes so you can center/align better with your studs. This was key for me because other wall mounts only come with 4 corner holes and if they do not match your studs, you are on your own figuring it out. This one instead, has so many holes, that you can easily find one stud to match a hole on the plate. I personally would recommend to use this TV wall mount with a recessed cable plate behind the tv to hide all your cables behind the wall. The result is amazing.

5 years later and holding up strong for 55 inxh tv over the fireplace insert. Havent had any issues since installed my 6 year old loves it she can get her stool and swivel it so she can watch her cartoons from her toy corner. And when shes done we put it back straight to watch from couch. No issues i have other ones in different rooms this is by far favorite like how it pulls out and swivels. Just get it
