Given that articulating wall mounts usually cost hundreds of dollars, I was a bit skeptical when I bought this mount, but needed a low-cost solution. At $27 I figured it was at least worth a chance. After installing this monitor, all I can say is WOW. Ergotron, Premier, Chief and co. can eat their hearts out; this mount does everything I need it to and more. The hinge action seems a bit stiff out of the box, but as soon as a display is mounted the movements are smooth and adjustment is easy. Plenty of hardware for nearly every installation configuration is included. Whats more, the VESA mount pattern on the small square base fit my monitor without the need for the large front plate and vertical rods on either side. What this means is I effectively received TWO mounts: an articulating mount as well as a low-profile fixed mount. All for $27.

Ive owned this for 3 months now; this was also my first TV mount Ive installed. I installed it in an older apartment onto a wall stud; mounting a 50 sharp Roku TV. As my first TV mount I was very surprised how easy this was to install. Tools needed to make it easy: stud finder, drill, drill bits, measuring tape, Philips screw driver, torque wrench, pencil, brain. Find wall stud, knock to know the width, draw a line where the center is. Then put the mounting brackets on the the TV, put the mount onto the TV, and measure from the bottom of where the mount will be installed on the wall to the bottom of the TV. This tells you how high to install the TV. Mark the wall accordingly. Then hold the mount up and mark where the screws will be placed in the stud. You dont need to worry about installing the mount perfectly straight because the mount does have a decent degree of adjustment to level the TV. Drill pilot holes, hold up the mount again and torque the screws into the stud. Once mounted it will look crooked, but you loosen and tighten the angle adjustment screws as needed until your TV is level. There are also screws to adjust the vertical angle of the TV, whether you want in facing straight, down or up. The degree of rotation with a 50 is impressive. We are able to angle the TV to be viewable from another room. The mount is sturdy and it instills confidence that it will hold the TV without issue. Quality is top notch at this price.

Second time I have bought a fully articulated mount from this company. This upgraded version is so easy to mount and works flawlessly. One of those products that really over-performs for the price. Buy with confidence.

My oldest is a huge filmophile. He actually refers to movies as film, regardless of avenue of watching (DVD, BluRay, VHS, streaming). He is a member of a couple film societies as well as film clubs in other countries. Hes in college but when he comes home he usually has packages from places like Portugal, Slovenia, Germany, Kenya, etc... waiting for him. They usually are old, forgotten films that have been remastered in whatever country he talks with onto BluRay. Im not even going to go into the legalities of all this.... However, he got a new TV for Christmas but needed a new wall mount. This was the perfect price, however when I purchased it, I didnt realize what all it could do. I initially thought it was a stationary wall bracket... when we received it I was surprised at the different functions it performed! My son is VERY picky...so I was a bit apprehensive if he would like it or it would be returned. He was thrilled! He can watch some Italian crime film from 1972 while hes chatting with his film friend in Finland because it will angle just the right way while hes at his desk. It also can angle for bedtime watching as well with the swing of the arm. It was simple to install with the template provided and works great!

The mount went up easy. There was everything that could remotely be needed to install it. Screws, washers,spacers and rubber washers. Very happy with it overall.

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It was incredibly easy to install. I bought it due to the high customer rating and the fact that it only mounts to one stud (ours are irregularly spaced). You will not be disappointed. I recommended this mount to my sister and mounted it even quicker for her. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Just an update to my original review: I have now bought and mounted this mount FIVE times. It is so easy to install and is perfect!!

Im not a regular reviwer in any way shape or form, but I do read them on every purchase I make on Amazon. Call me selfish. Call me lazy. A$$hole is fine too. Whatever. So with that being said, this is only my second review of a product on Amazon. Ever. The other one was for a complete piece of junk that I would have lost sleep over had I not ripped them a new one. This is hands down the best thing Ive ever bought on Amazon. Strong. Durable. As advertised and much more. All parts were there. Directions were good and easy to read. As for the people complaining that this was hard to install, they are either .... a) a complete moron b) are selling a similar product or work for someone who is and are trying to redirect a potential sale in thier direction c) a complete moron It took me literally 15 mins start to finish by myself and had my 55 TCL model 55s504 hung and having only one problem... trying to figure out what to do with all new free space I know had. If you can read and can follow some simple instructions and possess just a little common sense youll love this product as much as I do.
