I bought two of these and installed them both in an afternoon. One we use as a corner mount and the other on a flat wall for the main TV, it works great for both purposes. If youre wondering whether they can be done by one person, heres your answer: the mounts can be done as a 1 person job relatively easily, just double check that youre level. The trick is in hanging. I would say that for TVs <40 you can hang it alone. For TVs >=40 ask for help. I did a 32 alone with relative ease, the other was a 55 and theres not a snowballs chance in hell I could have hung that alone. Good product, dont spend more than you have to on a TV mount, this works great.

I bought this particular model because it only requires one stud for mounting. I borrowed a stud edge finder, marked my studs, used the wall mount for a template and drilled the holes. I mounted the swing arm by myself. The TV was light enough, I was able to hook it on the mount and tighten it down on my own. Following the instructions, it’s very solid and should stay in place until we move out.

Decided to hang the TV in my bedroom to get it off of the dresser and spent lots of time researching different options and price points. After reading so many positive reviews on the Mounting Dream products, I decided to give it a try. This single-stud option is great if you have a stud pretty close to where you want the center of the TV to be located when pushed in flush to the wall. Its also much easier to install since you only need to locate one-stud and drill 3 holes. The bracket comes with so many options for screws and spacers to mount the bracket to the back of your TV. This was especially helpful for my 48 Sony that has a large bump-out design on the back of the TV. I used two larger/longer screws with two medium spacers for the top holes and two smaller/shorter screws w/no spacer for the bottom holes. For installation into a wood stud, I needed: a pencil, stud finder, level (the set comes with one but its tiny so I used my own to line up the holes vertically), drill, wood drill bit, and socket wrench. Full installation took less than 45 minutes. Once up, the TV moved effortlessly, forward and back and side to side. There are 4 small hex screws that you can loosen to level the tv and 2 small hex screws you can loosen to tilt the tv. So simple! I was so happy w/the purchase, I ordered a 2nd mount for my basement workout room. The second unit (although it didnt come w/the paper mounting guide) took only 15 minutes to mount - I mounted this to an exposed stud on the unfinished side of a basement wall. My 2 TVs, a 25 lb 48 Sony and 22 lb 50 Samsung look great and I have no worries that this solid mount will do the job. I highly recommend this product!

Easy to install easy to use!

This is a solid, perfectly sized mount. I was delivered quickly. Easy to install. Only part that I do not like is that there are plenty of blunt ended screws but only one size of wood screws and they are huge, overkill for my job and difficult screw in without boring a hole bigger than any of my drill bits. The result of trying was stripped screws. I solved the matter with plug anchors and long wood screws. I am happy with end result.

This works great. Not hard to install. Very sturdy and holds my 43 tv firmly.

Mounted this for my Mom. She loves how fast it was installed, by me since I tend to take long to assemble things. Also, she loves how the mount has the ability to easily adjust the range of motion.

I needed a wall mount that would allow the TV to remain no more than 6 inches from the wall when I tilt it left or right. This did not do that. I found same brand but with a different mount style that did to this for us.

This mount is a good one it does a lot of motion and the price is on point.
