Moxi Skates - Rainbow Rider - Fun and Fashionable Womens Roller Skates

Upon opening the box the skates themselves smelled awful. Are these actually made in the USA or in China? Because only the shoes that I buy that come from China smell as toxic as these skates did. I put them outside in the sun, and tossed some whole coffee beans in them. 5 days later they finally smelled tolerable enough to try on. They feel just ok. They are bulky, and I don’t think an ankle has any hope of protection in these skates. What happened to Moxi? They used to be kick ass skates. Now they are just so so. Anyway, I don’t really love that these are vinyl but they do have a nostalgia factor, and are cute. So I will be keeping them. But these will be staying in the garage, not with my other skates in the house, until they stop smelling like a chemical spill. I don’t think I would recommend these sadly.

I bought this when the price was $109 !! ( same price as on moxi website but they were out of stock ) . These were not used or fake product . They are great !! Comfortable fit for wider feet, great wheels for the street . Now my friends want them, too.. lol. Please make sure to check size chart. I’m glad I did .

These are GREAT skates! Of course, they are adorable, but thats not all! The extra toe room is so nice (especially after being cramped in my other skates)! Comfortable indoors or even in parking lots or on sidewalks. These are a great skate for the price and I would definitely buy again!

These skates were great for a month. The wheels were smooth and the cushion on the back of the ankle was great for a beginner who didn’t even own skate socks yet. They’re also really comfortable. I could wear them for hours mo problems. I wore them to the rink and skated for over 2 hours. Feet were fantastic….walking like a normal person is another story. I also immediately bought a 2nd pair of wheels better suited for outside that were a bit wider and softer. I also bought those wheels their own bearings. That helped when I ventured outside. Unfortunately, after 3 weeks the wheels started to grip the ground so tough I couldn’t turn. At all. I would just stop. Nothing had changed from the week before. There wasn’t any squeaking or anything wrong with the bearings, nothing too tight, etc. I cleaned all the gear and cleaned my floor twice and still they would grip the ground so strong turning or transitioning became impossible. In a month, you shouldn’t have to change, clean, or oil anything (especially since I had a complete separate set of bearings and wheels for outside). I ended up returning them for the Lollies. Might as well when a a good toe stop costs $20 so you’re basically already there. The only downside is I ADORE THIS DESIGN. They’re so cute. I would have stayed in them but I’m a bit sour having to purchase new wheels for skates I’ve only used in for 3 weeks.

I’m somewhat a beginner, I’ve only ever roller skated when someone had a birthday party at a roller rink or something so very very rarely. I hadn’t skated in like 6 years so I definitely consider myself a beginner. But these are wonderful!! So cute and comfortable and they’re the cheapest of the moxi brand but still made super super well. I get so many compliments on them! I definitely recommend getting the toe protectors though because I fell and my toe slid a little and it really scraped the toe so I would def get those for protection and they look cute.

I have these and the Riedell orbits and these are way more comfy! Got so many compliments at the skate park too. Swapped the wheels and bearings for Bont light up and Reds. Love these❤️

I received these yesterday. So far I have only used them in the house because it is raining and they were just fine. Fit as expected. They are stiff especially when laced all the way up but I suppose that is good for support. Although I am not really a beginner, I am only just getting back into skating so they will be perfect for the time being. I didnt want to spend a couple hundred dollars on skates and find I do not use them enough for it to be worth it. I could have gotten skates for even cheaper than these but did want a quality skate and these fit the bill, definitely recommend for anyone that is a beginner or even just a casual skate (they are not meant for the skate park).

I waited till they were $109 (same price as Moxi site), measured a ton of times to make sure I was getting the right size. Ive been wearing 8/8.5/9 in somethings and was concerned I would get the wrong size. I ultimately went with the size 8 and its a perfect fit! They are so cute and they even came a day early!

Wasnt impressed. These looked cute but they were uncomfortable and heavy/clunky feeling. I returned them and spent a bit more money for bont skates. If youre thinking about buying skates-Spend a few more dollars and get something thats better quality.
