Moxi Skates - Rainbow Rider - Fun and Fashionable Womens Roller Skates

First Amazon review from me for something like this, the skates completely smelled of cigarettes to the point i had to clean them before i gave them as the present. I thought it could be the deliverer, but the smell was deep into the skate. Skates were as advertised and delivered quick.

Lovely skates. They’re adorable and feel very high quality for the price. Only 4 stars because it doesn’t come with a tool which all other Moxi skates I’ve seen do. A beginner might not even know they need one if they get these. I feel like if you’re marketing a skate for beginners that’s something you should absolutely include and not make them go out of their way to find. You need it to 1. Loosen and tighten the wheels 2. Remove the toe stop to add a toe cap or replace the toe stop when it wears out. And 3. Loosen or tighten the trucks which can help with turning. The crab tool that comes with other Moxi scares has all three of these. Even if it’s not the best it’s extremely helpful for someone who just bought their first pair of skates. The only other tool I can find with all three is almost $30 and buying them separately is even more expensive. Honestly just a really disappointing oversight. Maybe they didn’t add it to save money but if that’s the case maybe don’t market these to beginners

They are so adorable and easy to customize! I only needed to adjust the wheels, other than that they have been amazing to take out to the boardwalk or the skating rink!

I’m somewhat a beginner, I’ve only ever roller skated when someone had a birthday party at a roller rink or something so very very rarely. I hadn’t skated in like 6 years so I definitely consider myself a beginner. But these are wonderful!! So cute and comfortable and they’re the cheapest of the moxi brand but still made super super well. I get so many compliments on them! I definitely recommend getting the toe protectors though because I fell and my toe slid a little and it really scraped the toe so I would def get those for protection and they look cute.

These skates are working out great for my 10 year old. They are comfy, and fit both our incredibly wide feet well. My only issue is that they came absolutely reeking of cigarette smoke. Ive febreezed them multiple times, but they still stink, and now her pads, helmet, and skate bag also reek. I had multiple packages in the same delivery, and the skates are the only one that smelled, so it wasnt the Amazon driver. I have no idea why they stink so badly, but they smell like they were locked in an airtight chamber with a chain smoker for 5 years. Theyre 20 feet away from me dripping with lavender febreeze and I can still smell the stale cigarette smoke. Its making me reconsider buying a pair of Moxi or Riedell skates for myself because I cant deal with the smell.

Very hard to get used to. Have to be worn in since they are made with very thick material. Well made on the other hand. But also very heavy. Found it hard to skate and balance in them. Hopefully I get used to them because they are a beautiful skate and no cheaply made.

My daughter loves her skates. They are sturdy and she says they are comfortable. They look amazing.

I waited till they were $109 (same price as Moxi site), measured a ton of times to make sure I was getting the right size. Ive been wearing 8/8.5/9 in somethings and was concerned I would get the wrong size. I ultimately went with the size 8 and its a perfect fit! They are so cute and they even came a day early!
