Greater than one weekI wish I knew about these strainers earlier. I put them in utility sinks and if someone decides to wash their hair in that sink, the strainer picks up the hair. It feels sturdier than another brand that had thinner frames. This heavier frame fits very well. My only caveat is that after a month or so of not very heavy use, the metal on the frame around the strainer started to show streaks of water marks that are hard to remove, unlike a cheaper brand which stayed shiny and new looking after much heavier use.
