> 3 dayI have a set of juice 60 oz glasses. and one slipped down into the garbage disposal. I took hours for us to figure it out and not need to brake it, luckily. Once out we realized that an open hole is to large, and a few weeks ago the maintenance man fished a small knife out of it, and needed to change out the pipes under sink. I ordered 3 of these, only needed one really, but having an extra is OK. One on each side, and works like a charm to keep junk out of the other drain too, that can be ran through the Garbage disposal. All sink drains as a rule are 4 inches in diameter, and these come and a perfect sized for most.

> 3 dayThese rather beautiful, sturdy and efficient sink strainers replace several other, cheaper versions I purchased and threw out. These are very shiny (quite beautiful) and dont let any detrius down into the pipes below. In gloves they can be a bit difficult to pick up but again, they really do the job and are worth every penny. I do wish the manufacturer would sell them in groups of four though for multiple sinks around the house. Get them!

> 3 dayThese strainers are one of those small, seeming insignificant items that are much appreciated for the important job they do keeping a sink, drains and septic as clean and free of waste fragments as possible. I have a septic system so I try to be careful about food particles, debris from watering plants, etc. going down my kitchen drains. Ive been buying light weight, flimsy wire strainers. Thats all Ive ever been able to find locally and they get dirty and bent so require constant replacing. These old strainers were difficult to keep clean without brushing the wire mesh too free them of stuck particles. The plastic rims would often act as a plug and hinder water from freely draining. Very annoying. So far, I am impressed by these strainers, easy to clean and do not hinder the flow of water from the sink; however, I havent had them long enough to say how they will stand the test of time. At this point I would definitely buy again.

03-06-2025I have had those sink drain stopper type strainers for a long time. You know the ones that you can push down and it will stop the water from draining. Those never did work the best and they were hard to clean. When I bought these new ones, they dont stop the water from going out of the sink but they work great at catching food particles or anything else you dont want going down the drain, plus they let the water drain out very well. If you want something to stop up your sink, then dont buy these but if you want a strainer that will catch food particles and other debris and keep it from going down your drain, these are great.

03-06-2025This a simple product but very efficient if you work in the food industry. Y keeps its place in the sink, catches the food and doesnt let it go into the drain. It makes a bit more easy to clean the sink. Is easy to clean. Overall it does the work that is meant to do.
