Greater than one weekWe had a different car seat protector for our first child and its still in use, but this one is incredible; wish we had this one originally. Pros: - Very Sturdy. The back panel can take a serious beating from the kicks of a small child. - The edge of the seat is great for catching small bits of food or other items that fall. - All around it has sturdy construction. We have a Britax seat and it fits perfectly. - Ive had to move my car seat around and when Ive lifted it up there isnt any indentation. - Easy to install. - No Smell, my other one had a rubber type smell when I first opened it, and this one was completely odorless. Cons: - None I havent found anything wrong with this seat protector. Its amazing to take the car seat out and not have a huge impression of where it once was; Ive told everyone to go out and get this one for their car. The fact that it has the added back panel for when your little one is rear facing is great for muddy days, rain, snow or just when they want to kick.

> 3 dayThis is a nice protector. Its pliable enough that it conforms to the seat for the baby seat can fit snugly, but sturdy enough that I dont think the baby seat will leave marks in my leather car seats. A lot of people are complaining about the straps not being big enough to go around the headrests. 2 things. First, if you are using this with a forward facing seat this is not a big deal whatsoever. The car seat will hold the back of the BRICA in place firmly. There is no need to strap it in behind the headrest. Second, if you really need the straps and need to lengthen them you can easily find clips that will fit the BRICA ones and an extension strap in any outdoor/hiking store. They are a standard size clip. UPDATE AFTER MONTHS OF USE After a few months of regular use this is holding up very well. The BRICA still looks brand new. My car is well protected from the seat. I continue to be very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to others. I recently took the car seat out to clean it and the Brica looks brand new. The leather seats in my car show no signs of indentations, stains, crumbs, or anything else. This product has proved to be well worth every penny and is highly recommended.

> 3 dayI have one under each of the 3 car seats in our car and I LOVE them! They are very sturdy and durable! Once, when my son fell asleep on a long drive, he peed his pants and it soaked through his car seat cover, but pooled in this cover! What a blessing that was! Saved my cloth seats from being soaked in pee! And they are water resistant so I just dumped the pee off and put it back in the car! It was Awesome! I cannot say enough good things about these!!

> 3 dayI bought this after buying a different brand seat protector and I have to say that this is a very high quality product. The base has rubber grippers that help to hold it in place and it also has a little lip around the outside that holds a car seat or booster seat in place. The seat part is made of a semi rigid material so it stays in place and protects. The other seat protector i tried is not rigid and so sometimes it slips around under the car seat. I had read reviews that said the rubber grippers leave a mark on seats but this has not happened to me and I have had the protector in use for about 6 months. I have leather seats and will update this review if I notice any issues or damge.

> 3 dayI have an older van with cloth seats so I really don’t care about the pad making marks on my seat lol. I think kids do a lot more damage to a vehicles interior than a pad…. Anyway. I recently detailed my cozy old van and wanted to protect the cloth from wet, muddy shoes and spilled snacks being caked into the seat. It’s great! Feels very sturdy, I like that it’s crash tested, it does exactly what I need it to do. Maybe my van can stay a little nicer now for a little longer.

> 3 dayMy husband is absolutely OCD when it comes to his car. He keeps his car in pristine condition. So naturally, when we had a child and needed a car seat, he did immense research on how to protect the leather seats from getting destroyed. We found this seat guard by reading the wonderful reviews here on Amazon and we were not disappointed. Now, we have two little ones (a newborn and a two-year old toddler) and ordered a second seat guardian. We absolutely love these dear guards because, unlike most seat guards in the market, they offer full seat coverage up the back down the front of the seat. Another plus is that it folds in half, if needed. These seat guards are large enough to fit in our Escalade. We have the two car seats side by side, which overlaps the seat guards a bit. This seat protector also does a great job protecting our car upholstery from crumbs and spills. We all know toddlers love to eat in the car and well, throw food everywhere. The seat guard also helps prevent against indentations in the upholstery, or the line of dirt often causes in the upholstery where crumbs and spills leave their mark on the outside of the seat. I absolutely recommend this for all parents with childrens car seats or booster seats. An absolute for all the OCD mommies and daddies out there as well :)

> 3 dayMy only regret is that I didn’t get this sooner. It’s durable and saves my leather seats from being battered.

> 3 dayI got these seat protectors two years ago, before my son was born, and just bought more for the baby on the way. Theyve held up perfectly - through water spills and snackage, plus all the grimy baby/toddler things that just end up underneath a car seat. We recently removed the cover and the seat underneath (leather) was perfectly fine although the cover was kind of gross. Plus, they dont wrinkle weirdly when installing the car seat like some other brands and dont look terrible, either. If youre wondering if you need a cover at all, the answer is yes - no argument. Even if you dont allow snacks in your car, these will protect your seats from muddy shoes, potty accidents, grimy toddler hands, you name it. Just buy it and move on with your life!
